Sometimes Excessus does hobby things...

Looks pretty decent to me, little lumpy around the bottom but that's not a bad thing there, could say they were rocks or something sticking up from under the robe. Not quite sure about the way its done on the backpack. Looks like its going underneath it, but then it also looks like the bottom of the backpack is covered by it. Maybe its just the camera angle though, I dunno.

By the way, your TS last time I went through this thread have inspired me to look through my bits to see if I have any of my old TS bits left.

Oh the backpack is not even remotely done yet...

Also, I'm still trying to figure out how to make the arms. Hehe, lots of things left on him! :D

Go for it! Now I can't wait to see some TS from you!

The humble start of my 30k legionnaires. I need to become better to basecoat my models, there are some blank areas...but nevermind that, this model was mostly checking the colours anyeway.

Nice stuff!

Were you going for a AL-Hydra-green Omega symbol on the first guy in post 16?

A Jetbike with an above-average flamer, eh...? ;)

You mention Obliterator number 3, but I didn't see the first two! Really sweet kitbash on that, by the way. I want Oblits too, but I don't think I'll be using the official models, and corrupting the Centurion models... uh... no. I'll use the Medusa-era Possessed before that.

@recon: Thanks, I have finally started my little 30k project with my lovely little Alphas! Part of the ship, part of the crew... hehe The colours used are Sotek Green with a Drakenhof wash over it and I used Eshin Grey as a base and Leadbelcher as highlight to do battle damage and to make the metal areas look less shiny.

@ID: Yeah, though the brush was not up to the task...and neither were my hand stability. :tongue.: My first two Oblits are these two old gents:

Photos are taken quite a while ago, I never managed to get the red to look good in pictures...it's a lot less "shiny" in reality...

Thanks! Yeah, they are my old (un)reliable oblits, that can't ever make any damage with their lascannons...ever! (seriously, I'm having the worst of luck with their lascannon option and only that!)

I made a sergeant for my lonely HH marine:

I haven't decided yet how to highlight the head (hate painting fleshtones), and the sword could do with a bit of a touch up I think...it didn't look as good on the picture as I had imagined it would...

The squad has borrowed a legionnaire from the destroyer squads for his expertise in devastating weapons, his armour blackened and charred from the use of the unstable but lethal weapons...

Just one more marine then I have to build new ones... :P

Thank you for the comments guys! I have managed to speed up my painting a bit, and that makes me a happy camper! I have now used my last five heresy era bolters, the models are undercoated and ready to be painted! :)

...though I'm still lousy at sticking to one single project...

Currently I am trying to figure out what colours I used on this guy's coat so I can duplicate it to others. Old picture is old, as are the colours...

Another old picture, this time of my renegade guard company command:

They have served me well on many many occasions, maybe I should paint them a little, hehe :)
