Part of the fun of the ETL is the strategy of vowing something huge and then being able to secure it with consecutive vows in the later stages of the event. A time limit per vow would take away that part of the event. In the end, who cares about super mega vows anyway? It's their choice, plus it would be impossible to make the ETL completely 'fair' with SWs and BAs having their own forum. I believe the ETL is mostly about challenging yourself on your wn terms (and the ETL restrictions), about the community and about fun. If I may ask did you air brush the glow for the plasma gun or use a different method? Thanks HLVW! The plasma glow and all OSL has been done with an airbrush. First I paint the surface that is meant to give off light white, then I spray thin light blue, which I mix with white up to almost completely white. He's also offered to make personal ones with a pic of your choosing - he made the one you've already shamelessly stolen (like a true scion of chaos) for me personally, but I guess it could just as well work for all Night Lords players with five completed vows. Had he not sundered the forces of the Angels of Death they would have claimed victory! :lol: Seriously though I'd like to thank Semper again for all the hard work he puts into this event, it was a great time for everyone! I do find it a bit ironic that the Templars were split off in an effort to keep it competitive and it ended up being a blow out in favor of chaos. I'm certainly not blaming Semper as hind sight is 20/20 but I think it's something we need to consider for next year. So despite the official result.... I CLAIM VICTORY FOR CODEX:SPACE MARINES!!!! However this would've left FoI and HH in the gutter. Even combined the two wouldn't have had a chance against the other groups. Hard to say which way would be the best, but stuff like having CSM+CD together while BA, SW and FOI for example are alone doesn't seem optimal from a fairness point of view. Despite all this it's still a great event, mind you, and no matter what form it takes next year I'll definitely participate again. Even if it's BT vs everyone else in one big group. Perhaps Steve, Arizona, Kilo, Tanyr, and myself can be one faction painting anything legal for any forum? Call it the Five Digit Forum or FDF. That should even it all out for next year, right?
