This knight is piloted by VSS Lucia. When the planetary governor decided to establish strong ties to the newly founded Order, he donated the first of his knights to be restored to fighting status to the Order. This was a show of support, while also making them dependent on his household for training, repairs, and armament. Lucia was selected to pilot the knight titan after consulting the emperor's tarot. While she has yet to participate in a major battle, she spends much of her time training so that her skill will match her faith and zeal.

 

As is Sororitas custom, they took a machine of war and turned it into a walking fire hazard for the sheer number of purity seals on it. The maintenance crew requested them reduce the number to a maximum, and only in areas less likely to cause mechanical problems. Of course, the younger Sororitas have made a sport of sneaking into the hangar to add "just one more for good measure" until the crew remove the excess and the game begins again.

Really starting into my lot of "sisters of eternal mercy" minis from Raging Heroes. After the comments on the size of the "terminator", I did another comparison of one of the davidians (repentia) and a regular line troop as well.

OK so I had originally planned on a "counts as" squad of 10 GK paladins. The sisters of mercy "terminators" come in a set of 5 troops and a set of 5 command group. The troops set are armed with hammer and shield with the option of a heavy flame weapon or rotary cannon. The command group have gauntlet storm bolters with the sergeant having an optional sword. I'm not sure how to field these now.

Could work as a squad of Deathwing Terminators and a Deathwing Terminator Command Squad. Armaments would be about right for legality.

 

Either way, eagerly looking forward to your Sisters. The Raging Heroes line have pros and cons, but seeing them painted will be awesome as I am also looking for Sister alternates.

The details on them are astounding. The minis are resin, with all that entails. The proportions are much closer to the sisters of silence than they are the chunky metal sisters, which leads to my biggest complaint about them. The majority of them are in "dancer" poses up on the balls of their feet, which doesn't leave much to work with for pinning them to their bases.

I like how the gold turned out, but do I leave the armor all gold or do I paint skulls and stuff silver or white? Ideas?

Tank WIP. The hatches are swappable so I can use it as a rhino or an immoliator.

Minimal use of silver paint on the skulls and other decorations. The silver complements the gold, allowing the latter to be the dominant color, without becoming overwhelmingly so, or looking gaudy as a direct consequence.

I have started my inquisitorial stormtroopers; planning on 3 squads of 10 with 4x plasma in each with a command squad. I was planning them in 7th edition to be the Stormtrooper Airborne Assault Formation (3x squad, command, commisar, 4x valkyrie) but now I'm not sure what to do with them other than alpha strikes.
