WickedWeed Posted December 21, 2016 Author Share Posted December 21, 2016 So here's the first christmass update of many, during the holidays I will be posting pictures of the entire finished army (hopefully before new years)Today is two weeks after I recieved my order from FW, and the Venator hull is done, and so is the Javelin hull. Only crew and cannons to go, plus a special base for the javelin. It's actually quite easy, I started by basing everything black with a spray. Then technically leadbealcher all over and then some runefang steel on the top of the armour and so. Then the actual white part begins, first 2 layers of administratum grey from GW and then 2 layers on the marines of very thin white scar from GW as well. Sometimes 3 layers is needed for the white to really shine for example on veichles. The reason I mentioned the metallic colours are because I do it to all of it before I paint the red parts more specific. And I think the metal might take some of the black, but the grey SHOULD be enough I think Hope that helps, any more questions, criticism or commentary is more than welcome! What do you guys think ?They are also blessed enough to get Mark IV shoulderpads with the TS marking.I'm ordering some breachers as well, which will be customized with achean heads maybe but Mark IV shoulders for sure.
