Current list I am working towards is this, appreciate any tips: Captain Lucius (185) No Laer blade, sonic shrieker Tartaros Centurion (135) Herald, Thunder hammer, sonic shrieker, grenade harness Centurion (115) Champion, Paragon blade, sonic shrieker 10 Tartaros Terminators (410) Vexilla, augury scanner, 2x reaper autocannon, phoenix spear, 2x chainfist, 4x power fist, 3x lightning claw 5 Phoenix Guard (200) - DT Land Raider Proteus (235) Front-mounted lascannon 4 Apothecaries (180) 20 Tactical Marines (220), Vexilla, phoenix spear 20 Tactical Marines (220), Vexilla, phoenix spear 15 Despoilers (180) Vexilla, phoenix spear, 2x power axes 10 Heavy Support Marines (285) 10x lascannons, augury scanner 10 Kakophoni (275) Kratos (360) Flashburn shells, hull-mounted lascannon, lascannon sponsons 3000pts Maru Skara RoW. Lucius & Phoenix guard outflank in the Land Raider, Despoilers & Champion outflank on foot. Apothecaries join the two 20-man Tac squads and the Heavies and Kakophoni. Tartaros & Herald footslog up the centre (anvil), outflankers come on and knock out enemy & take the objective (hammer). Apothecaries babysit the Tacticals, Sunkillers, and Kakophoni. 2x big rear Line blobs, 2x big forward Line threats, 2x shooty infantry threats, 2x shooty tank threats, and deep-striking Multi meltas to react as needed, pretty simple really! Brother Kraskor Posted July 11, 2022 Author Share Posted July 11, 2022 Now a kind of weird fusion of the two: Fulgrim (425) Lucius (185) No laer blade, sonic shrieker Centurion (135) Herald, Thunder Hammer, sonic shrieker, grenade harness 5 Phoenix Guard (200) 10 Tartaros Terminators (400) Phoenix Spear, 2x Chainfists, 4x Power Fists, 3x Lightning claw, 2x Reaper autocannon 10 Tacticals (120) Phoenix Spear, Vexilla Rhino (65) Multi-melta 10 Tacticals (120) Phoenix Spear, Vexilla Rhino (65) Multi-melta Sabre (95) Autocannon & heavy bolter, searchlights, 2 Sabre missiles Sabre (95) Autocannon & heavy bolter, searchlights, 2 Sabre missiles 10 Sunkillers (405) Lascannons, Augury scanner 10 Kakophoni (275) Kratos (410) Flashburn shells, sponson lascannon, hull lascannon, flare shield 2995pts Lucius and Kakophoni advance with Fulgrim & Phoenix Guard on one flank, the ten Tartaros with Herald on the other. Lucius initially babysits Kakophoni to give preferred enemy, then jumps into the phoenix guard squad to give that to Fulgrim so he can take names and kick ass. A fair spread of armour and infantry, not loads of Line but hopefully enough for most games. I think your list thematics are classic and really dig them. That said, you can Outflank 4 units. I would think you would want to do so with the Sabres (in one unit), the Phoenix Guard (who need to get downfield somehow; maybe a Spartan, Dreadclaw or Storm Eagle instead of that Kratos?), and both Tactical Squads.
