Over the years I have tried and played many different loyalist chapters:

  • Space Wolves
  • Dark Angels
  • Black Templars
  • Crimson Fists
  • Raptors
  • Ultramarines
  • Blood Angels
  • Imperial Fists
  • Raven Guard
  • Exorcists

Right now I have my Exorcists "Hex Breakers" company but I am always building another Marines Chapter so this Blog is rolling into on Space Marine Blog.

The Red Hunters Part 6

"Non permittant vivere impuritus."    Well I did a little more painting last night on the Armageddon Librarian. This is character 2 of 3 characters, plus I have 4 squads to paint for my 500 pt list.   Captain Razak- Completed Librarian Zarghul- WIP Bladeguard Ancient Bladeguard Veterans (3 man) Intercessors (5 man) Assault Intercessors (5 man)- need to build Heavy Bolter Elimintaor (3 man)   Since Bladeguard Veterans are al

The Red Hunters Part 5

"Non permittant vivere impuritus."   Well it was a busy weekend for modelling....Did not get done as much as I would like, family life and all. The more I use Army Painter the happier I am for making the switch. The Army Painter Warpaints Fanatic line with the color sets (6-7 colors if it has a Blanche version) that gives you your next highlight is great. Especially if your paint rack is organized. Now the Warpaints Air line uses the Triad system. My favorite part is the the Air and Fa

Red Hunters- 3rd Company Armory

Non permittant vivere impuritus."   “Suffer Not the Unclean to live.”     The Red Hunters Chapter is constantly at war, on missions, and serving as bodyguards for Inquisitors. As such, resupply is sometimes infrequent, with their Chapter homeworld, Montsegnur, being on the edge of the Segmentum Tempestus near the Ultima Segmentum. As the Red Hunter's forces needs to be become combat ineffective, they will return to Monesegnur  When resupply is required for armor the Red Hunte

The Red Hunters Part 3

"Non permittant vivere impuritus."   Well I built some more models for my Red Hunters, just some Armageddon Intercessors and the Land Speeder.  And I did more painting on 3rd Company Captain Razak.   Five Intercessors      No conversions just a straight forward build. Not a bad build and like the poses. 5 down 5 to go.    Land Speeder     Pretty straight forward build. I did have to glue the tip of the Onslaught Cannon. I did

The Red Hunters Part 2

"Non permittant vivere impuritus."   I finally got around to painting a Test model for my Red Hunters Space Marines. Of course I can not paint a basic model for as my test bed, I have to use my Armageddon Captain. Right now he is what I am calling "I swear he is not a Blood Angel Space Marine" stage. Honestly this stage will last until his decals are added. This will go for most of the army.    III Company Captain Razak of the Red Hunters Chapter     Paints use

The Red Hunters Part 1.25

Just a small update as I have been messing with my Imperial Citizens, Planetary Governor, Imperial Agents and Inquisitors  lately. One model that has been bugging me is the Ancient. more specifically is the banner.     While it is cool and easier to paint, the Armageddon on the banner bugs me     My WIP Solution   Some Sprue Glue and sanding, still more to do deciding if I want the Ork Skulls on it still.

The Red Hunters Part 1

Well I decided to make my Armageddon Marines into Red Hunters, and while building I decided to add my Dawn of War Onslaught models to the pile. Then I pulled the unbuilt Hammerstrike Storm Speeder, Assault Intercessors, and Heavy Intercessors.    Here is the built models:   Start of the Intercessor squad with Ancient   Librarian and Judiciar    Chaplain and Eradicators   Heavy Bolter Eradicator   Vanguard Veterans an

Liber Exorcismus

I have been working on my Grey Knights, Inquisition, and Howling Griffons. I have been leaning at reducing my Howling Griffon planed forces and moving back them to back to Exorcists. I have a lot of models for Space Marines so having Multiple armies does make some sense. The ideas I keep having follow one of two ideas, Badab War or Grey Knight support. Here is what I am thinking.    Chapter Name Founding Chapter Info Badab Ties Forces Probabilty

Griffons, Raptors, and Daemon Skulls...Oh my

So I seem to have a fascination with armies that fought in the Badab War. Well Loyalist at least.  I have more units then I should and certain armies look better than others in certain schemes.  With the new Detachment Point system I feel like I can take certain Detachments as one Chapter and another chapter as another. So with all the models I have or getting I could have multiple Chapters in a list. So Howling Griffons, Raptors, and Exorcists, are my go to Chapters.

Howling Griffons- Upcoming Projects 1st company

So as I continue working on my Howling Griffons, I am thinking about what I want to add.  I need to build and paint my 20 Terminators (2 5 man Assault Terminators and 2 5 Man Tactical Terminators), 5 Man Scout Squad #2, and 3 Dreadnoughts (Ballistus, Brutulis, and Redemptor Dreadnoughts).  I need to paint the Custom Terminator Characters (Company Champion and Lieutenant), Ancient, Captain*, Finish Librarian, Chaplain, and Apothecary, and Scout squad #1.    Ideas I have right now:
