Are the new scouts easy to put together?

Yes, for the most part. I’ve had ever version of the scouts since the 2nd metal ones (missed out the og ones).
 

The current kit is the most complex of them all in the scout range I built but are the best looking as well. Box contains 4 total sprues, 2 of sprue A and 2 of sprue Sprue B. 

Build is simple, chest from and back 2 legs, which is the hardest part, making sure they fit as they are intended. Very Similar to Intercessor builds. 
 

Accessories have slots for them (pistols have holstered and unholstered choice) one variant front and one variant back.  Then you have your 3 gun variants (bolter, bolt pistol/ knife, or shotgun). You do get options for a sniper rifle, missile launcher, heavy bolter, and Sgt Chainsword which is two of each.  
 

By adding the bits from Black Templars you get enough variant for 3 squads.
