The Blood Angels were not my first Heresy Legion but they're definitely the ones I've spent the most time on and built up more than others. As soon as they revealed the Legion Dreads I was instantly hooked :)
A lot of the units are built using a mix of 40K BA kits and MKIII & IV Marines as I wasn't prepared to pay the price of the FW assault squads. Even using the bits from three separate plastic kits often worked out cheaper than buying one FW kit!
I also built my own Angels Tears squad, purely because I was so excited I couldn't wait for them to release the models!
