I wanted to keep a record of my progress into all things Primaris. When they first came out I was not a fan, until the Dreadnought and Reivers came along, now I'm liking them. I don't play 40K, so my models will never be game applicable, I just love to build and paint so don't worry if you see frost weapons or things like that. :-) So here's what I have so far, some of you might recognise this fella: Next up I got the 3 basic Primaris that came with issue one of Conquest. When I started converting I didn't want to go all out like I did with the Dreadnought as I wanted to keep it that they were not steeped in history, so not as many wolf pelts, tokens etc, but I think that will change as I make more of them as I prefer the size to the old models. This one is a lieutenant (Wulfen axe, head from the new upgrade sprue and a wolf pelt): Haldor Icepelt came next - as I've said before not a fan of the head on this guy, so a swap with a Shapeways head and a shoulder pad from Spellcrow: Another lieutenant (swapped the pistol for a frost axe from Spellcrow, head from the upgrade pack wolf tail & pelt): Have a few more in progress, but need to sort the pictures. Hope you like.

Ever since i started my primaris space wolves successor, Duskwolves, i wanted to make 13 wolf lords for it. Recently i saw this post about a project that made models of all the current wolf lords , this inspired me to push through with this project i had in mind. Some ive already finished, and some ive built already. Ill try to post pictures of the building and painting journey of these wolf lords. Most might not have enough wolfy bits but i work with what i have to start of here are the names of the wolf lords im going to make. You may notice some still dont have 2nd names and im missing one more. Im still working on that the ones in parentheses are the rough translation of their first names hope you guys will like this little project of mine on a side note, ill just be using the same emblem on the left shoulderpad for all of them, i figured since its a successor chapter they will be sort of following the army format of the astartes. I think thats how it works Hjoldir Duskwalker (werewolf) Rollo Blackmane (famed wolf) Floki Greymane (trickster) Frode Ironheart (wise) Gorm Fyroath (he who worships god) Herlief Orkbane (warrior descent) Asger Wyrmson(spear of god) Bryn Gorehowl (warrior in armor) Einar Grimtooth (one who fights alone) Sigurd Rockfist(guide to victory) Tyr Redmoon(celestial being) Torvald Thunderstrife (rule of thor) *i cant seem to figure out how to put a picture while using my phone, will update when i use my laptop ♂

Hi guys, I need help. For years I have been a hobby-ist far more than a gamer, but I really would like to put together a decent army, which would not get laughed off the table should I play a game or 2. My goal for 2021 is to find a gaming club I can join and actually learn how to play. For 40K I would like to go mainly with the Primaris, but I have a massive amount of Firstborn. Theming my army around Ragnar. After crossing the rubicon, he is almost treated as an outcast by his fellow wolf lords, he smells different, so he is shunned to ward off maleficarum. Feeling slighted, by his treatment, Ragnar believes his only path lies in reshaping his future and striking out on his own. Ragnar invites all those from within the chapter who feel outcast to join him. Those who no longer wanted to follow his lead were given his blessing to depart for other great companies. Attracting a great many of the newly inducted Primaris and swathes of the Old legion to his side, he takes up the original colours of the 6th Legion and strikes out in to the sea of stars. This new found great company is now by far the largest within the Fang. Many Jarls within the chapter view his actions with jealousy and dread, trying to forment a rift between Grimnar and Ragnar. Logan has taken a different view on the matter, seeing Ragnar as a bridge between te old and the new and has hopes that by uniting them both, he can start to heal the widening schism with in the chapter. Swearing oaths of loyalty to the Wolves of Fenris and the Great Wolf, Ragnar departs the Fang with his mis-fits, ready to create a new and exciting saga. I am a bit aimless when collecting, just getting units here and there, so if someone could help guide me, I would like to turn my mish-mash of troops into an army So what do I have? Ragnar Haldor Icepelt Shadowspear Phobos captain Shadowspear Phobos Lt with grav chute Shadowspear Phobos Librarian Rune priest made from Bladeguard Ancient Indomitus Chaplain Indomitus Judiciar Indomitus captain Indomitus Lieutenant Arjac Rockfist Ulrik the slayer Njal Sormcaller Bladeguard veteran squad Eliminators Suppressors Eradicators Outrider squad Assault Intercessor squad Infiltrator squad Incursor squad 12-15 Thunderwolf cavalry all armed differently 3-4 wolf priests 2-3 rune priests 2-4 iron priests 15 Blood claws 10 grey hunters 70 wolf guard terminators A massive amount of Heresy stuff I can run as any sort of troop choice and lots of tanks.

Just saw these amazing new Reiver Werewolf helmets by pop goes the monkey: So I jumped on these until I saw the current shipping price: £22.17 for 10 helmets or I could go Express Shipping and get it a day earlier and pay almost £10 more. Now I want to cry.

Hi folks, After a fairly long break from 40K, I decided to paint up a leftover squad of Primaris Assault Intercessors as a bit of a palette cleanser. Big mistake, I am now planning my 5th Space Wolves army! Here's my first unit: This will be a slow burn project in all honestly, as funds are tight currently, and will be Primaris only. Planning a Combat Patrol force of Ragnar, 2x units of Assault Intercessors, and a unit of Bladeguard Veterans. Currently working on a Primaris Rune Priest. C&C is, as always, appreciated. Cheers, WW

Finally got around to actually start painting. Long time lover of the lore and books but not interested in Gaming really. Although i generally love all things Space Wolf, I'm not really a lover of the blue/grey colour scheme so I've decided that my 'home brew' successor chapter will have a white colour scheme because that's soo easy to do! 'The White Wolves, or 'Hvitulfur Russ' as they refer to themselves are a newly minted all-Primaris successor to the mighty Space Wolves. Denied the opportunity to rejoin their brethren upon Fenris, they have begun carve out a fearsome reputation alongside the Wolfspear as a chapter the Wolves of Fenris will be glad to fight with.' As none of the Wolf Lords have deemed themselves worthy of displaying their personal heraldry upon the banners and shoulders of their Great Company, each company will bear the White Wolf on their left shoulder, framed by their company colour, which will also be displayed on their helmets and right knee pads. Tra Company uses red as their company colour:

Hello fellow Fenrisians, I had a couple of questions for you all, I hope you can help. I was thinking of making a spearhead detachment of mainly long fang squads in the following configuration. 1st pack LF 6 members 1 Sgt with power weapon and plasma pistol 5 plasma cannons 2nd pack LF 6 members 1 sgt power weapon and plasma pistol 5 missile launchers 3rd pack LF 6 members 1 Sgt with power weapon and plasma pistol 5 heavy bolters 4th pack PA WG with Jump packs 5 members frost weapons and bolt pistols. 1. I wanted to know, if i give Long fangs plasma cannons and I were to super charge them and I rolled a 1 do I initially re-roll the 1 because they are long fangs and they have fire discipline. basically giving them a chance to not blow up unless they roll a 1 again. Or do they simply blow up because it was a plasma cannon? 2. I also wanted to know if I should leave these guys on foot? razor back them? or put them in drop pods? 3. Is there anything else you would add if you had a list kind of like this? P.S My main joy is simply building and modeling, but i try to make sure they are playable forces. I figure I would use them in apocalypse style games, which is what im designing my wolves to be, iv never played it before but I want to try it out

So, a while back, I came to a decision. My armies weren't distinct enough between Primaris Greymanes and Primaris/Firstborn mix Space Wolves. So I sold off the Primaris Wolves...to fund purchasing Firstborn! Here's the first of my new Firstborn, a Rune Priest with Force Axe.
