Night Lords 15th Company - In Memoriam...Pg.68

Recommended Posts

I enjoy your work here among my lost sons.

I wish that I was able to keep them loyal but alas their father had part of my own abilities with a darker twist on the future abilities.

But none the less your work here is amazing and I look forward to seeing more of it

Thanks Grandpa, really glad my work pleases you. However this doesn't change anything... I'm still going to rip you from your golden throne of lies and toss your withered corpse from the walls of Terra.

As for the available Obliteration Team slots, they are as follows:

Razor 1

Spotter Sergeant: Edh Costha (Dan the Deamon)

Gunner: Vol Sahid (1000heathens) - Armed with an Olympian XR-760 Anti-Material Rifle

Razor 2

Spotter Sergeant: Cadogan (Biohazard)

Legion Gunner: Zarghos (Xavier Targhost)

Razor 3

Spotter Sergeant: Zon Carix (Dragonkin Arenis)

Legion Gunner:

Razor 4

Spotter Sergeant: *Unknown* (Darth Potato)

Legion Gunner: *Unknown* (Vazzy)

Feel free to  PM if you would like a slot, 1st come, 1st serve as before. We can also talk equipment and armor as well. I plan on doing a slew of weapons both known and exotic for the gunners, and the Spotter Sergeants will all have powerfists in addition to specialist weapons like Meltaguns and Plasma weaponry. My vision is for these guys to also be heavily armored with additional plating and bonding studs (representing MoN). Additionally, if any of the bikers wants to trade in their wheels for a big gun or a powerfist, let me know.

Whilst slightly miffed about the Bikers, I must say I'm more than impressed with the Atramentar and the first Obliteration Team!

The Termies are wonderful, Heinrich! There's a level of uniformity and personalisation in them that makes them look totally unique, whilst making sure they look like a unit.

And as for the counts-as Obliterators, I've been waiting for the day that someone else decided to make their own versions of Dan's Weapons Teams, and I'm not disappointed. Can't wait to see more of these!

Fantastic work, and Can't wait to see more :D

Regarding the Terminator spines, I sort of picture them covering the whole back (maybe not the vents) and wrapping around the chest plate to form a full ribcage. Could leave gaps to show some of the blue underneath, then combine that with either skull helmets or terror markings, dangling leg and arm bone trophies from the belt, and maybe some continuation of the skeletal theme on the arms and legs (bone toes like on Dante?). Could make for an extremely interesting Terminator command squad. I just feel like if Skeletermies would work in any Legion it'd be Night Lords. :tongue.: Anyway, HW team looks ace so far, looking forward to seeing a whole unit of these.

Ah gotcha, well I didn't want to go full skele-nator on them, rather I wanted this suggestion of them being these hulking evil beasts. I wanted all the spikey trappings of Chaos and the Night Lords, but I wanted them to seem like almost primeval terrors or something, like you couldn't quite classify what they are, just that they are monstrous and terrifying.

What have I to do, to become one of your bikers of doom?

great start on the oblis, too.

Well we just had a slot open up, so if you want to be a biker just PM me and let me know what name you'd like for your guy.

Simply awesome stuff on here Bro Heinrich, simply awesome. Love the fluff, love the conversions (I am envious of your GS skillz!) and excellent painting - your lightning especially is so crisp......

.....and your Atramentar rock!

Thanks man! Big fan of your Flesh Eaters as well!

*In an Australian voice*

If he pulls this off he will quickly become the most famous night lord player on the boards...crikey...

Haha thanks man, but Dan the Deamon and DarkVen still hold those titles

You include confidently yourself in the list.

Well only if you say so ;)

What is that plasma cannon from? I love the side mount. Good looking models man, follow that team through and you'll be golden.

Thanks man! That means a lot coming from you. The cannon is from the new Deathwing Terminators set, Instantly saw the potential to do a DtD pattern Plasma Cannon with it. By the way, any word on whether or not the illustrious 18th is still trapped in the warp?

No word on that.

If Heathens needs a spotter, look no further. He can be the monkey behind the trigger. I'll be happy to make the corrections and smirk from the shadows. Been there.

Good stuff. You make the call, I'll make 'em fall.

I can't believe I created the framework for this to happen. Maybe I am a monster o_0

Or a mad genius. It really depends on the success of the mini(s).

Thanks for the positive feedback guys!

So I figured I'd give you all a taste of what's in the pipes. I haven't taken pictures of the biker progress yet, which will no doubt drive Noctus and his band of outrider scum crazy, but I do have a picture of my newest idea. After re-tooling the list I planned to build, I have decided to combine the biker squads into one band of crazies under the nominal command of Noctus Cornix. Additionally, instead of running a Heldrake, I'll be taking Obliterators. However in keeping with 15th companies' disdain for mutation and corruption, they won't be your traditional hulking mutant weapon platforms, rather I'm taking a leaf from the master's book again and building heavy weapon teams. Thanks again for the inspiration Dan the Deamon!

Let me know what you guys think. Also this means there will be a few more named slots opening up (8 to be precise). So to those of you who wanted a spot in the 15th but missed out, here's your chance! One caveat however, I will be reducing the biker's numbers by one, so if one of you guys would like to trade in your wheels for a big ass gun, let me know, you'll be first in line for a named member of one of the 4 obliteration teams.

Ave Dominus Nox

Awesome

Razor 4

Spotter Sergeant: *Unknown* (Darth Potato)

Legion Gunner: *Unknown* (Vazzy)

HH Ultramarine bash brothers!

Just don't tell Papa Roboute... :unsure.:

These two should get the metal AL shoulder pads for good measure, making them double traitors or something equally fitting.  I'll send you the shoulder pads if you'll put them on the models.  Hell I'll send you the Rad Missile Launchers as well, seems to me that they should be using the most horrific of weapons too.  Just message me whatever you need to make them as terribly traitorous as you can and I'll do what I can.:nuke:
