What else is there to say, with eben ADB himself complimenting you on your outstanding work?

 

The latest piece of background and both the Terminator squad as well as the model for Hashec Tor are simply fantastic: The painting on his facemask is just sublime!

 

I check for updates in this thread whenever I visit B&C, and grow giddy whenever I see something new. Marvelous work!

This is the one thread I've followed on any forum ever. These models are so unbelievably amazing. Your Captain just demands attention, it's rare you get a miniature painted to a standard where it even eclipses the other exceptionally modelled and painted models that have come before it.

 

I would absolutely love to face off against these guys on the table one day. You've put such a level of care and love into this army that it's impossible not to inspire the same in all who see it. Quite a feat man. Exceptional.

I like how you've portrayed Hashec Tor as leaning more towards Khorne - it offsets his background as the "Hammer of Nostromo" nicely, as well as the subtle hint that Sazzik Noct may be sharing his mind with something else. Brilliantly put, Heinrich - I'm thoroughly envious :P

Edit: I'm sorry I realized I should have checked out the pictures that was rude. Not much to say other than great stuff. I like that the bat wings aren't attached to the helmets. Also love the lightning.

Thanks! I never liked the crazy amount of batwings on the GW set so I tried to drastically tone it down.

 

There is a subdued sense of awesome coming off that last guy. Really great.

I, Brother Heinrich, will answer the Call of Chaos. I vow to complete 5 Night Lord Bikers, 2 Rhino Armored Transports, 1 Chaos Landraider, and four Obliterators before January 15th, 2014. I vow to provide a minimum of 3 updates per unit pledged, lest I face the wrath of the Dark Gods. Should I succeed in this vow, I shall bear the Mark of Dark Glory as reward. however, should I fail, then lost and damned I shall become.

The Crimson Hand: Group I, Update I

 

The first Obliterator team is pretty much done. I've decided all the heavy weapon guys are going to be part of a cult formation like the Bleeding Eyes and the Carnivores (my biker Marines). The Crimson hand will be a collection of Night Lords veterans who have a predilection for sowing terror through firepower. These are the dregs of former heavy support legionnaires and destroyer squads, guys who use esoteric and frightening weaponry seldom seen on the battlefields of the 41st millennium. First up is Darth Potato and Vazzy, let me know your thoughts:

The Carnivores: Update I

 

The Carnivores, just like the Bleeding Eyes and the Crimson Hand, are a cult formation drawn from the former outriders and scouts of the VIII Legion. Giving themselves wholly to the thrill of the chase and the hunt, the Carnivores are strung throughout many VIII Legion warbands and only follow those warlords who promise bloodshed and war without end. Leadership amongst the Carnivores is tenuous at best, with packs of warriors following only the strongest and most ruthless among them. The members of the Carnivores currently serving with 15th company are lead by Noctus Cornix, a terran-born veteran known for his savagery and taciturn nature.

 

The unit is about 95% done, just have to find a head for one of the bikers and add a few trophies here and there. I also tried to satisfy Heathen's request for a Road Warrior style mask biker dude. Let me know what you guys think:

Landraider: Update I

 

Here's the Landraider ladies and gents, not too much has changed since you last saw her, I think I've just added a few skulls and cleaned up the trim a bit. Still gonna add some VIII Legion Roman Numerals somewhere and probably the Legion symbol all big and awesome on the hood (Thats a given). Let me know if you guys have any ideas. Enjoy:
