The glory of the 15th marches forwards my children! Man I love painting vehicles, I can seriously crank these bad boys out in a handful of days. So glad to be past the creative roadblock of those damn bikes, now it's just a handful of infantry models and then the Landraider itself and I will have fulfilled my vow and come full circle since my attempt to build a Night Lords army last year. So close I can almost taste it! Anyways, tonight I give you 2nd Claw's venerable chariot of war. C&C appreciated as always ladies and gents.

Great updates awesome stuff. After I red about flaying customs of VIII in Horus Heresy book 2, I had similar idea like yours body on rhino. Would you mind if I try something like that, using your fantastic work as inspiration?

Awesome fella, pure awesome. I'm the opposite when painting tanks, getting the base and highlight colour down with my air brush....no problem, it's all the fine details after that I struggle with.

The trick is in compartmentalizing and doing each part in a phase. Otherwise it gets overwhelming.

Evening everyone,

 

Quick update on the Crimson Hand. The final team consisting of Dragonkin Arenas and KrautScientist is complete. With this team all done I can finally start the paint phase on these bad boys. As always C&C is much appreciated and encouraged. You guys are what keeps me truckin'

this army makes me feel inadequate, I cannot even compliment it properly.

 

really love the paint job you have done one these guys, it is so crisp. and the weathering you have done is the perfect contrast and provides a great sense of balance overall. and to keep your standards so high for so long is truly impressive.

 

man this is such a great army! army shot? please!

 

cannot wait to see the weapons teams based and painted to perfection!

That grenade launcher is a thing of beauty. The tank looks sexy and i like your combat squad. 

 

On a side note. Do you ever think there's anything wrong with us? Sculpting skinless bodies and entrails onto lightning covered tanks? We need to find some of Dorn's boys for an intervention.

I want to make some weapon teams myself, but I still can't find a way to incorporate them in a Heresy army :sad.:
