Wow! Great stuff there. Love the design above the intake port on the venom. The blue on the splinter weapons is a great idea.

Good use of colours on it, nice to see you branching out and of course it's good to keep things diverse - variety is the spice of life after all :smile.: Free hand turned out nicely too :thumbsup:

With that it leaves 5 Hellions, a Venom and a Razorwing. I have ordered the Blood of the Phoenix box that my friend is taking the Craftworld from. At 3rd party prices and splitting between us, the price really isn't that bad (a lot better for me then it is for him) That will bump me up to another Venom, another 5 Hellions, 5 Scourge, 5 Incubi and Drahzar.

 

I hope everyone is doing well in these weird times! I have a weirdly high amount of mojo for painting but I'm certainly not complaining!

Very nice. I really like the purple on the blades edge.

Thanks Dread! I thought purple would look pretty cool, plus contrast enough from a grey-green. It makes it clear these guys have some fancy stabbers :yes:

 

I've had a small lull in posting but I haven't had a lull in progress. I wasn't too sure how to base these guys to begin with, most of my other armies have a simple astrogranite basing scheme or a a dark desert scheme. With these guys being relatively drab/dull I figured a bright-ish basing scheme made sense but was stuck between a mars-ish/red scheme or a light desert. I tried light desert and it didn't come out how I wanted it to so tried Mars-ish and it came out pretty great.

 

I started off with a 5 man Kabalite squad and a scourge, and was like oh damn this is the one:

Having painted these I can honestly say that these have so much movement and character and are honestly some of the best models GW have put out and cement the Dark eldar range as my top favourite model range. A lot of it has to do with the way the odels are put together but the Klaivex for example is sucha cool model in the way it looks so cocky without a smirk , just a silent challenge. Enough of my ramblings, hope everyone is keeping well in this odd time.

Base scheme looks excellent, really works well with the colours top work :thumbsup: The Incubi looks great can't wait to get to my own keep up the good work :smile.:

 

 

Excellent choice! As warriorfish stated, perfect blend. Plus that basing will work good on most any table scheme. I mean look how cool it is on top of the words, just saying, cool.

I've really been enjoying my hobby streak these last few weeks, I don't think I've been this productive before. I've painted 39 Dark eldar modes in 37 days, when I include the Death guard I've painted I've painted 49 models in 47 days, which to me is just crazy! Anyways, here's my progress:

I also have an archon that I've converted and is ready to be painted but I've earmarked it for the Lockdown painting event. After I've done these I think I'll probably get a good few Raiders to transport my troops around and maybe some more Incubi

For myself, I will be finishing the wych cult arena v1 this weekend for sure. 

 

I'm also finally able to order the gear I need to paint minis, so those tiny wych cults ar coming.

 

Speaking of which, do you have any plans to include Wyches or Haemonculai?

Thanks Penitent! I'll keep an eye out for your arena, thank god GW is back open I ran low on a lot of paints and washes and didn't want to pay scalpers on eBay :ermm:

As for Cults and Covens? I've just finished a Talos and am looking at getting a metal Urien Rakarth because I love the model but don't want to deal with Finecast. I'll probably add more covens stuff at some point but they're not my main priority  atm.  I got an old metal Archon which I'm going to use as a Succubus for my Hellion detatchment. I also got my hands on some Reavers and Wyches cheap too

Great stuff your productivity is surely hard to rival! Drazhar looks fantastic but fitting that a centre piece model should be your best (so far), excellent stuff here TC as always :thumbsup: Looking forward to seeing more! :smile.:
