WAR Posted November 15, 2021 Author Share Posted November 15, 2021 Long time no update. I recently was reminded that my local Warhammer store was doing their Kill Team Campaign. Whoops I forgot and need to fnish my Kill Team. I have 3 options to complete Adepta Sororitas Battle Sister Squad 10 models, Sister Noviviate Squad 10 models, or Grey Knight Kill Team 5 models. I choose my Grey Knights as my focus has been on other armies and while the Battle Sister Squad is primed, I would still need to airbrush armor colors, and would take longer. Plus I like my Grey Kill Team over the Battle Sisters. So I primed the models chaos black minus the bare head , which were done in Grey Seer. Once the chaos black dried i sprayed the helmets, back packs, and Strikemarines Leadbelcher. I then did the bases and leather bits in mournfang brown. I washed the bases with agrax earthshade and set them aside to dry. I dry brushed Grey Knight steel on to the lead belcher areas and added some drakenhoff night shade to the models. I painted all the bare heads with bugman's glow I then began blocking out colors on the Justicar and added Agrellan Badlands to his base. I appreciate the time you're taking to break down every unit like that. I don't think I could do that. It would take me forever to finish anything! It obviously yields results though. I normally don't break models in sections but certain units it feels right, like the purifiers, or one offs like this Kill Team. Primed black did the inside grey knight steel, rim and lettering Retributor gold and then agra wash on gold. Flyers probably wont see the table top much (I have a stormraven to build/ convert too) But if i use one it will be the Stormtalon as mobile air to ground platform. (One GM, One heavy slotted.) The beauty of this (for me) is it ramps up the difficulty and lets you explore these otherwise unused units. For me it's been dual dreadnoughts. I can't believe how fun they are because I don't use them in any other army so it was a no brainer to slide them into GK, and when you have 2, or even 1 NDK on the table, people completely ignore these little silver boxes hammering out shots. I think it's great you're filling out the roster. Literally it's just an FAQ or update away from being usable, and you have it in your arsenal. If I get some extra coin I may look into those name plates. Very cool. I did get an Etsy dice bag for my GK which I absolutely love. It's a nice personalization. I got a few etsy dice bags from Dicebag studios one for my GKs and one for my Sisters, I love them! Alsot got custom Dice tray for Sisters need one or my GKs. Dont play often and not competively either. I am trying to get out and play more...work disagrees with that option. I have 5 NDK's to build.....I thought I had 3 and bought another for a steal. And Turns out i already had 4. I probaly will never run all 4 (GMNDK, 3 NDK- 5 is gonna be a librarian in NDK) Once I finish the interceptor squad I'll 1,000 pts painted. so I hope I can catch a gmae with so friends or at the store to see how the army works and what the next units to paint are. Well its built and ready to be painted for my Grey Knights. Unfortunately it is just the one from Aeronautic Imperlias..... I also built my Lesser Daemons Breaching the Warp Objective counters for Grey Knghts to purge. And finally I started painting my Ordo Malleus Termiantor Lord, his Acolytes, and his Astropath for an upcoming Inquistoral Stromtrooper Army.
