Does Cogitated Martyrdom work with dread characters?

If you make a dreadnought a character, through use of March of the ancients, can wounds from that dread be transfered to a tactical squad with cogitaded martyrdom?

Another thing, that dread can not be a warlord and have the Paragon of Iron thingy? Only use the stratagem that allows it to have a Warlord trait?

I don't see anything that would prevent you from using Cogitated Martyrdom on a March of the Ancients Dreadnought in the codex, but I don't have the FAQs open either.

As for the second question, no, you cannot. It comes down to the order of operation in 9th: you're required to appoint your warlord first and it must be a character (as opposed to any model like 8th), and then you can play MotA. Since he's not the walord he can't benefit from Paragon of Iron, but you can still give him one trait using Hero of the Chapter.

Thanks for the reply. Moving a wound from a T7 model to a T4 perhaps sounds good then.

It does not work. That was one of the first things they FAQ'd for the dex.  The Errata specifically says "Excluding Vehicle Models"
