Adding 3 Eliminators to my August vow:
I, Majkhel of the Blood Angels, embark on the 12 Months of Hobby Challenge, and for the month of August pledge to complete 3 Eliminators for the glory of the Angel by month's end.

Yeah, I'm finding my brush drying out far too quickly and even my wet palette needing a top up every 3/4 hours, but I've still managed to make some limited process.

This gets me my first Horus Heresy unit legal for the EC, baring the pure black shoulderpads which are blu-tac'd on waiting for the EC Mark VI pads. Once I have them I'll see how much more they need in terms of decals.

I, Rogue, have completed all of the rockgrinder bits for my recent Goliath before the end of August. Hurrah for me. I forgot to include the alternate weapon options in the photos, but they are done. 

I'd definitely like a couple more - the truck version is very useful in all sorts of ways, and I'm looking forward to trying out the Rockgrinder into an unsuspecting enemy unit.

Okay so figured I should probably post here as well as my thread as they were vowed for this:

First vow complete sans base for the Lt which I will get done by months end.  More pics can be found in my WIP thread.  So next up, three Necron Warriors and three Assault Intercessors as per the flow of Imperium.

I must admit I am a fair ways into the Necrons after this photos and will hopefully get them finished by EoD today. 

 

The main stumbling point now is bases and how to convincing make the Aggemmo look like another Chapter symbol.  Could have carved it off but for now I wanted to see if I can make it work.

I also finished the rest of the unfinished models to finish the army, so between last year’s event and this one 2000p or thereabout of Treeranids got painted. Thank you Xenith for running them.

I ended up with a chunk of spare time over the weekend, so my neophyte leader went from bare plastic to done surprisingly quickly.

Given that I'm starting to struggle with seeing the fine detail (grr, don't get old / have rubbish eyes), I think he's come out pretty well.

This is me trying to finish most (not even all, this is just what I have with me) of my infantry by the end of the year. Figure 16 or so weeks left in the year, give or take, 39 models to complete... that's just 2.5 models per week. Should be easy, right?
