Raven Guard can hear the voices of the dead?

Been reading the Raven Guard supplement lately, there's a couple of mentions suggesting that Corax and modern Raven Guard can hear the voices of the dead. I can't find this anywhere else, is it an invention in the 8th edition book?

I have only read the HH novels but I don't remember that being mentioned in those.

I think it is supposed to be metaphorical, and a symptom of Corax and the RG's melancholic nature & their guilt at losing their brothers to war.

Yeh I don't recall coming across that on any of the HH RG novels or the limited 40k ones I've read / listened to

 

I'll have to see that in the current supplement what page / section?

I don't have my codex with me, but I swear there is something along those lines in the 8th edition codex, I think with the discussion about the sable brand.

No worries! Glad to help. It is weird that there's no mention of this elsewhere it seems, and then in the book it's mentioned as if you should already know...
