Canticle of Hate aura target unit distance after cast

If a chaplain casts canticle of hate on a unit that is within 6” and that unit moves beyond that distance (I.e. makes a charge that chaplain did not make) does the unit continue to have +2 to their charge or do they only have it if they continue to be within 6” of the chaplain?

Canticle of hate is an aura. You do not cast it on a unit, instead all units within 6" of the chaplain get the bonus but only as long as they are in range.
