Soldier of Dorn
It's worth noting that at the very beginning of the video what is presumably the Imperial Fists special character is partly visible in the center of the photograph on the opening page. Edited somewhat to make it more clear: Certainly an interesting design with the dual fists. Not sure I like it, but it is nonetheless exciting. spessmarine
solid preview but a little weak in the HH side just the book trailer, I figured they were going to save showing models for it for heresy thursday but guess they forgot about that
Taliesin
The release of the book is very exciting in my opinion. The fact that they are finally doing an actual supplement again after all these years is a huge thing in and of itself. Can certainly see why some think these were not the legions that needed attention the most but I dont mind it. I love that it states it will have more than a 100 pages of lore/narrative and Hoare stating in the video that the book will show where all the major factions are at this point in the Heresy. Xenith
Also cool to see Inductii as a reason why there are so many CSM that fled back to the eye and who were maybe not as professional or as trained as regular legionaries. Certainly helps my headcanon when reading about a loyalist mowing down multiple traitors in BL novels! As an aside, I did like the Word Bearer taunting and then wiping the floor with the Primaris officer in Throne of Light. Seemed realistic for a ten thousand year old veteran. ISBEAR
Coming in two weeks, courius how this the new zone mortalis rules will be. This huge supplement features a hefty lore section, campaign rules for playing out the key battles of the siege, new rules for claustrophobic Zone Mortalis battles, as well as new options for units and wargear including Inductii, tank commanders, and the Infernus Abomination.* Cactus 1 Back to top
Cactus
I'm already looking forward to reviews of the ZM rules later this week so we can find out. derLumpi 1 Back to top
OttoVonAwesome
Most stoked to finally see the Inductii rules, can we make crazy gene enhanced dudes or just cheaper worse troops. Got me some BA tacticals not really sure what to do with but if I can make em into something like the World Eaters ones used to be it's gonna be pretty great especially if they keep heart of the legion. It would definitely be interesting if they turned out to be something like a proto death company, obv they wouldn't have Black rage, but a Mix of Unification Wars Pre-Sanguinius and Red Thirst would be cool. Also the image had a Skull and Cross Bones on a Black Background so, wink wink.
Xenith
I'm wondering what the inductii rules will be - cheaper, but only in units of 20? Worse WS/BS cannon fodder/objective holders?
Aramis K
I like to think the Inductii are partly a nod to old rogue trader era marines, more punk gang mooks, slogans on armour Allart01, Petitioner's City, lansalt and 1 other 2 2 Back to top

Hfran Morkai
Kind of hoping they release it in the black book style to go with my set from first edition and the HH special rulebook. And hopefully these campaign books are fairly regular as there's loads of things that can be covered.

Lord Marshal
It would be truly bizarre if it were Direct Only. Even the Necromunda splatbooks have been getting general releases. Matcap86 1 Back to top
Shovellovin
Could the book be a FW release? Maybe that’s why there isn’t a price? edit - nevermind, it’s not listed under FW on the preview Edited May 15, 2023 by Shovellovin

I was hoping for that too but it seems they decided not to do that , yesterday was really the moment to announce if it if they had such an edition. As for your second point, Warcom and Hoare did recently say this is the first in a wave of supplements. Of course this being FW/Specialist Team, it could be they might only do 1 a year, who knows. Hfran Morkai
I'm pretty sure the Black Book styled rulebook wasn't released/announced at launch of Second Edition. Then again the rulebook wasn't either from what I recall as they were pushing the box set. And that's it, it could easily be less than one a year, meaning it could take a while to explore the universe.
Noserenda
Yeah they arent going to do anything like the old black books again i suspect, plus if Titanicus is anything to go by, SG actively dislikes consistency in book/spine design :D Doctor Perils 1 Back to top
