Certainly an interesting design with the dual fists. Not sure I like it, but it is nonetheless exciting.

The release of the book is very exciting in my opinion.

The fact that they are finally doing an actual supplement again after all these years is a huge thing in and of itself.

Can certainly see why some think these were not the legions that needed attention the most but I dont mind it.

I love that it states it will have more than a 100 pages of lore/narrative and Hoare stating in the video that the book will show where all the major factions are at this point in the Heresy.

Also cool to see Inductii as a reason why there are so many CSM that fled back to the eye and who were maybe not as professional or as trained as regular legionaries.

Certainly helps my headcanon when reading about a loyalist mowing down multiple traitors in BL novels! 
 

As an aside, I did like the Word Bearer taunting and then wiping the floor with the Primaris officer in Throne of Light. Seemed realistic for a ten thousand year old veteran.

Most stoked to finally see the Inductii rules, can we make crazy gene enhanced dudes or just cheaper worse troops. Got me some BA tacticals not really sure what to do with but if I can make em into something like the World Eaters ones used to be it's gonna be pretty great especially if they keep heart of the legion.

It would definitely be interesting if they turned out to be something like a proto death company, obv they wouldn't have Black rage, but a Mix of Unification Wars Pre-Sanguinius and Red Thirst would be cool.

 

Also the image had a Skull and Cross Bones on a Black Background so, wink wink.

I like to think the Inductii are partly a nod to old rogue trader era marines, more punk gang mooks, slogans on armour

I don't know the FW kit well enough to spot any differences that might indicate plastic.

I was hoping for that too but it seems they decided not to do that , yesterday was really the moment to announce if it if they had such an edition.

 

As for your second point, Warcom and Hoare did recently say this is the first in a wave of supplements. Of course this being FW/Specialist Team, it could be they might only do 1 a year, who knows.

I'm pretty sure the Black Book styled rulebook wasn't released/announced at launch of Second Edition. Then again the rulebook wasn't either from what I recall as they were pushing the box set.

 

And that's it, it could easily be less than one a year, meaning it could take a while to explore the universe.

Yeah they arent going to do anything like the old black books again i suspect, plus if Titanicus is anything to go by, SG actively dislikes consistency in book/spine design :D
