Rematch with the Tau. This guy is a champ and great to play with. Was 42 degrees and we got 3 rounds in before they closed.

 

My new thing to remember is wepon profiles. By doing so I absolutely disected a pirahna with an Evisorator and the rest of the squad had a laugh.

 

I am really set up for Chaos or SM factions so look struggle against non elite armies (have enough anti tank).

 

Need to rejig a bit for a gun line. I usually run 2 x 5 man DC, a 6 SG,  with captain, terminators, SCOUTS! and a big core of shooting to do both.

 

Need more JPAI and probably outriders versus gunlines. Mephiston and Sanguinor is very hard to make work v gunlines (slowish and no special counter charge move).

 

I start the Sanguinor on the table, trade him for a chaff unit and a big tanks round of shooting. JPI are better at that.

 

Have also swallowed my points pill and I am making a big effort to score, sure its un-thematic (terminators doing an action on a objective with a lone breacher 2 inches away) but thats the game at the moment.

 

Impossible to play without score board pressure so thats the mission.

 

Have also incuded a picture of me trtyng to put Mephiston and fhe Sanguinor in the same list.

Just gonna leave this one here. Would have beaten Custodes as we ran out of time but still came 3rd in a 1,500 16/16 3 rounder.

 

Orcs first, have played this guy before so he thought I'd be ultra conservative. Double Gorkanaught plus Ghaz list. Landraider and termies took one  MN down first turn, Sang guard also stripped Ghaz's squad, pain boy and N'kari.

 

Got good secondaries and ended up with a lot of board control so an easy 80/44 win.

 

Second was EC. Hard work but HI from the SG and FF v Lucious and the FBs plus a mistske from my opponent (I interrupted after he got his charge order wrong).

 

Sanguinor very strong v EC and wished I had him. If flawless blades charge SG in a vaccum look out. I am a 15% career invul save converter. Sometime you have to denny EC a kill especially after the first one procs.

 

Third we ran out of time but I think I would have won.

 

Great TO and they set up the tables and rotsted players and put a map key on the table show the terrian benefits (so easy to reference).

 

Nice way to open my BCP history (first BCP tournament).

Did lemartes base a while back and was really happy with it. Could finish him in a couple of hours but have been trying to make up my mind on white wings vs black wings.

 

Think the skull paldron and helmet won't pop as much with white wings.

Bolter case will be red.

 

Work is a bitch atm and using my spare time to play so havent painted anything since early January.

 

Have named the Landraider the Spear of Telesto amd really like it so far. Basically using it to storm an objective and putting terminators in it. Doesn't die much which is good a 4 turns of shooting is quite a lot.

 

Pile of Shame is currently 5 assault terminators. Waiting for Vanguard vets to come out but might add another 10 DC with jetpacks for gun line lists (or AIwJP).

Trting to get good at painting for a few hours here and there for a couple of hours.

 

Usually I want a week off, 12 hours sleep, perfect weather ect.

 

My big issue is I stuff things up because I rush if I do small blocks. Important to have a plan and goal on what you want to achieve in a small block of time and don't sit down to the desk unless you do.

 

Land raider is about 70% done oddly. Should look amazing and I've hsd good results from it despite the points.

 

Next thing to finish is lemartes (About 70% done too) and then the Hammernators.

 

Think all 3 will look fantastic and really help my play/list.

Hard to believe it but I've nearly got 3k painted and assembled and my pile of shame is finished.

 

Will do a final bunch of photos when all is finished and close out the thread.

 

Might sneak in a DC Captain, JP Chaplain, Techmarine, 10 more DC wJPs and some inceptors into the army for about 3,500 points.

 

Will take any advice on what else I may need.

I know its odd but despite being ready to start a new army I just want my BA to have everything they need and 100% finished first.

 

I really, really love playing BA and having a fully decked out army makes me very happy indeed.

 

Again if you see anything I desperately need please let me know. I do have a box of terminators so could max either squad out but would need to do lightning claws on AT if I went that option.
