I started to get some paint on these today. It’s finally time to try some YELLOW. I’m using 4 different paints and inks for some variation but it’s an experimental process so we’ll see

I really like the knight and foot-knight

Yellow's always "fun" to paint. Imperial Fist Contrast has oddly good and even coverage, and can be pretty good to paint over (as are the new Vallejo Game Colour paints, in my experience)

I really admire your conversion and painting skills. This is the embodiment of Blanchitsu for me.

I will pay close attention and hope to pay tribute in trying to learn from your example.

This style, for me, is THE perfect style to capture the 40k universe. I personally do not like the new modern happy colorful version of 40k.

Thanks so much @Valkia the Bloody I’m glad I can inspire. I have to credit a whole bunch of people with inspiring me too. Ingrimmson, Neil101, pdfneglectedfruits our own @KrautScientistand more from the old ammobunker. Of course Thistle Blanche too.

here’s a quick battle sister

Yellow is such a difficult colour to do right, you’ve done a great job on these!

Thanks! It’s a combination of three different yellow paints and a yellow ink in various inks. It was actually easier to do the yellow than the metallics on these, as I tried the AK black brown ink and it came out really glossy and then metallics didn’t adhere very well after

Some really awesome paint jobs there, love how gritty they all look!

thanks. I used the basing material watered down and spattered in with an old toothbrush
