What a beautifully presented document! Very professional-looking.

I don't play AT (yet) but will share with some gaming colleagues that do.

Thanks for getting the cameo in there from my blog of World Eater Captain Borya

You're in for a treat – AT is up there with Epic Armageddon, Blood Bowl and Space Hulk as amongst the best examples of GW rule-writing. Endlessly fun, whether you're winning, losing, or even picking your list! :)

That looks absolutely amazing. I really like the thought that has gone into it, particularly the feel of the new titans (nice touch on the power fields shorting and starting fires, by the way - very Orky).

Hi,

I just wanted say that i love these rules and thank you for your efforts.  I do have a rules question, how do the eldar Holofields interact with the Legio Fureans Hunting Auspex?

I assume that the Hunting Auspex works reducing the -2 to hit to a -1 but just wanted to double check.

Thanks.

Edit: any thougths on adding wraithknights and war walkers I'd love to add some bright stallions?

Yes, that's right.

As to adding Knights; that's something that's a bit beyond the current scope of the project. Knights basically operate under a completely different set of rules, and I'm simply not familiar enough with them to do Eldar Knights (and Ork stompas) justice. WIth that said, I'd be interested to see any playtesting done with 'counts-as' Imperial Knights masquerading as Eldar.

We're coming to the end of beta-testing now, so if you have any comments, queries or playtesting notes, that you'd like taken into account, please let me know as soon as you can.

That's absolutely brilliant work, thanks to all who contributed

I haven't had chance to fault check nor peruse it properly, but it looks amazing.

Is there any chance any good frater could send me a link to sites who make the minis? Either here or DM. My AT collection needs new factions, any help appreciated.

I do have a couple questions… I believe the Ork rules mention Klans, but I don’t see any rules for them. Am I blind or are there not any? Also, I would love to play an Ork faction, but I’m having a hard time finding any models. Any suggestions?

For this project, I've avoided using ‘Craftworld’ for Eldar and ‘Clan’ for Ork as terms because they don’t really reflect the way the forces work in-universe, and the archetype of some Clans/Craftworlds don’t translate particularly well into giant robot battles. Perhaps most importantly of all, I don’t want to limit how people paint their models! :)

The plan is for War-clan (Eldar) and Waaagh (for orks) rules to appear separately in future campaign-themed releases (bit like how the AT Legio rules were released), along with bits like missions, Mekboy Gargants/Supa-Stompas and Stratagems.

For the moment, the maniple equivalents (Bigmob and Conclave) tend to lean into particular archetypes, which is sometimes reflected in the background blurb. Skullhowla Mobs, for example, are noted to be favoured by Bad Moons and Deathskulls - but I've deliberately left this open so people have as much flexibility to paint and play their Xenos as they want.
