Ok, these are the completed Kill Teams from KitS* 2025 . An amazing job by all involved, with some beautiful Teams painted and some inspiring, grimdark and/or very funny fluff that has been created to go along with them! Well done everyone!

*I only just noticed that acronym :rolleyes:

Voting:

All board members are invited to express their approval of these superb entries (you don't have to have taken part, or completed a Team in order to vote!)

Each Frater can give a vote to their 3 favourite Teams. The 3 entries with the highest number of votes will gain 3rd (Bronze), 2nd (Silver) and 1st (Gold) places respectively.

I'll spread the Teams out into their Alliances over the next few posts, as I'm not sure how many pics I can get in 1 post.

Amazing entries, one and all! Tough vote to cast, but I made myself do it!

I should just say that my team shouldn’t be included in this list as I didn’t finish the full team and only painted 4 of those 5 models during the event. I’m sure I won’t get many votes anyway but just saying I shouldn’t really be included in the voting.

Great fun and some amazing teams!

Agreed, this one was hard to vote between, all the teams were great! Also I really liked your team and the fluff that came with it.

Technically, yes. You weren't the only one who didn't quite manage the full 6 man team for Astartes.

But to be honest, imho they were great teams with really striking, characterful paint schemes, and it just felt a bit... churlish, I guess? ...of me not to include them with the rest of the finished teams just because there was 1 dude missing?

If people want to include criteria like that in their voting decisions, that's cool. But in the end, the whole thing is all just a bit of fun and group motivation, and I think you should be proud of what you accomplished. They look cracking!

Ok, the Poll has now closed and we have our winners!

So, in reverse order, a round of applause for:

3rd Place (Bronze) to: @Grotsmasha for his Angels of Absolution, a lovely cohesive team, great paint job on what is a tricky colour to do well, and made all the more impressive by being 1 of 3 teams completed for the Challenge!

2nd Place (Silver) to: @Chaplain Raeven for his Night Lords. Superb paintwork again, am I right in remembering that these guys were winners last time we did the Challenge? Anyway, the NL army that is building up must look absolutely stunning all together!

And 1st Place (Gold) to @Alby the Slayer for his Wolfspear. No great surprise at this being our overall winner, the extra work of painting up scenery and foes to create a full diorama has really paid off! A beautiful, story-driven finished piece! (It makes m think, maybe B+C could do a Diorama Challenge...?)

So, congratulations to our winners, and everyone who has taken part, and thank you all for your support of this event!

Side point: I must apologise I've not had a chance to get the badges uploaded. I'll do that in the next day or two.

Thankyou for running this event, it was great seeing all the awesome models, reading all the Lore written for them

Yes, thank you @Lysimachus for running this - I've also enjoyed seeing everyone's models and the background; well done to @Alby the Slayer, it was really difficult to pick out my favourites to vote for as the standard of contributions was so high

Thank you all!

I love this events. They create a great opportunity to engage in a fun challenge, with focus on a specific project and I love to see what people do with their miniatures.

Thank you again to @Lysimachus for the event and

Silly question, how does one add these to their signature?

I was wondering the same thing. I found this.

This post will tell me if Ive been successful

Edit I guess not.

Hang fire for a bit guys. I'm not sure I've saved the file correctly to make the pink bit transparent, so @Brother Tyler is kindly assisting me (technical luddite that I am! )

I've updated the images with the transparency, and I've added the image links into the posts so all you have to do is copy and paste them in.

The interface for editing your signature is just like composing a post/reply, albeit with a few steps to get to your signature. You can see the tutorial here (Editing Your Signature). Also, since the source images are 300x300 pixels, you will need to shrink them down to 100 pixels high (presumably 100x100, but you do you). If you are unsure how to do that, there is a tutorial here (the link should take you directly to the post about EDITING AN IMAGE IN CONTENT, which is part of the larger Images and the Gallery Feature tutorial.

Thank you @Brother Tyler for the tutorials and thank you @Lysimachus for the badge and thanks again for running the event! Looks like I got it figured out. Also thanks @grailkeeper as well for the earlier help!

A well deserved win, Alby! Your awesome painting tells a story before a single word is written. An entire dioroma for your kill team is just flexing at this point

Beautifull Angels as well Grotsmasha, it's poetic that the fight was against your nemesis and your furry rivals

Thanks for the votes everyone, didn't expect to get in the top 3 with the sheer amount of awesome entries!

Just the two squads for now, I need external motivation to get going with them  Bought some Raptors and Terminators in a moment of weakness though, so maybe for next year?
Thanks again for hosting the event! As you can see, it works great as a motivator!

Thanks for running this @Lysimachus and congrats to the deserving winners. Also congrats to anyone who, like me, has finished a kill team thanks to this challenge. The ratlings were quite a lot of work but the fear of failure kept me going!
