Deus_Ex_Machina
Whoever wins this stuff would need three years of consecutive painting to get it all done. Ranulf
15 hours ago, dalmer said: Not to be pessimistic, but things like this are like my thoughts on the lottery... I'm 53. I've traveled, worked with a ton of folks, and had a public-service job for 30 years which would have me come into contact with lots of folks. I do not know anyone that KNOWS ANYONE that has won a lottery of any kind. I'd love to at least know someone who KNOWS who won, just one time! I'd be happy for them! There was an absolute douchbag I went through school with until he dropped out to pursue a career picking up glasses at the local sport club. Then, in his late 20’s, after years of cheating on his partner with underage girls from different high schools - his partner won a 40 million (AUD) lottery and also decided to stay with him. Said douchbag now owns several clubs, restaurants, assorted business and racehorses in my city. I occasionally see him driving around in his Lambo, high as a kite, grinning with his turkey teeth and fake tan. With regard to the GW prize draw, is there an option to claim the original one in the picture with Adrian? Because that’s a stack of pure gold. zulu.tango, Lathe Biosas and dalmer 1 1 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/387104-50-years-of-warhammer-prize-contest/page/2/#findComment-6142017 Share on other sites

I see to remember someone on here winning a GW giveaway many, many years ago. Mate of mine won a million on the UK lottery about eight years ago. 9 hours ago, Vassakov said: I've entered, and then immediately wondered "why?" as I'm not even sure I'd want like 80+% of this stuff. The SM II vinyl would be cool though... Yeah I'm the same, if it had been like the old one then yeah I'd enter but most of this stuff doesn't appeal to me. Feels more like clearing out the studio stock cupboard than a proper giveaway. Bit surprised no Tzaangors though, probably the only thing they haven't tried putting them in! dalmer 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/387104-50-years-of-warhammer-prize-contest/page/2/#findComment-6142051 Share on other sites
Valkia the Bloody
Thank you for sharing this. I logged in. Also, I know quite a few people who have won lotteries and great prizes- my parents even once won the lottery which enabled my family to get all new living room furniture. A friend of mine won a car at a radio prize draw last year. So it is not impossible. If I win, this forum WILL know about it. Moonstalker
Stuff I don't want or can't use, I'd support my local hobby/gaming scene with. Start contributing them as prizes for painting competitions, tournaments, etc. Unloading it on eBay seems like a pain, but donating a box every now and then as a prize would be low effort and make a lot of people happy. Would probably take 5 mins to list each thing, stick it up at 70% of RRP and it will sell. Biggest issue would be finding enough boxes to post it all out in! If I won this then my son and I would probably have half a dozen boxes each, give a couple things out to friends and then eBay the rest to fund the kids’ sports training for the year. I thought exactly the same thing about needing boxes … Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/387104-50-years-of-warhammer-prize-contest/page/2/#findComment-6142295 Share on other sites

Many many years ago, when legend of the five rings was a very popular and active trading card game I entered a sweepstake at my local hobby shop. To my complete surprise, I won an uncut sheet of legend of the five rings cards, as well as a pack containing every single card they had made. I think I still have that sheet of cards rolled up somewhere and the other cards bouncing around somewhere as well. I’m hoping to replicate that luck with either a $1 billion dollar Powerball lottery, or probably the equally priced games workshop 50th anniversary prize.
