Another tracked servitor, this time smaller and simpler. What you think?

Thanks everybody! I'm not sure about the design yet so there may be some changes.

@ augustmanifesto: I'll take some scale shots on the next update.

@ Seregon: You think I should run a cable conecting the auspex and the gun-targeter asembly?

New improved version:

To be honest I don't know how I would model a close combat servitor since I haven't given it any thought so far. Thinking about it I believe I would go for something totaly different from the gun servitors. I'm thinking lithe and swift instead of implacable and bulky. Perhaps an Arco-Flagelant on steroids? an amagalmation of a Necron Wraith and an Arco-Flagelant? Whatever it might be it would be dynamically posed and totaly mechanical (flesh is weak and all that stuff, you know... :thanks: ) In fact your question has got me interested in trying to build one so thanks for asking! :whistling:

I'll try to get a scale pic one of these days. I don't have a techmarine so I'll probably use a plastic Space Marine for size comparison.

give him the loading arm from the missile launcher powerpack! he'll look just like wall-E!

THIS! ;) use another epic LR and put little arms coming out the side you could use the command tank peice as the sensor array B)

that would be awesome!

i want an epic LR now :P

Wisey :)

@ AJB2K3: To be brutally honest the only reason I placed the auspex there was that I needed to hide a feature of the tank chasis and I didn't have any other parts that could go there. At the moment I didn't give any consideration to the auspex's survivability. Come to think about it though, we have Marines wearing ubber protective Power Armour covering every part of their body except their heads so I guess an auspex up front is not the end of the world. Or at least I have found a good excuse. He he! :P As for abusing the Epic LR chasis, well, I have converted Games Day miniatures so I guess it's not the worst of my crimes. :D

@ hendrik / wise_crack: In the grim darkness of the far future there is only... Disney cartoon robots?

Definitely looks good. I'm curious from a techincal standpoint as to why the scanning equipment is in the front of the servitor?

Because that was the only way to hide a feature I couldn't file away or cover with greenstuff. :P

@ Lord_Halrian: No pinning, but I'm confident it will be just fine since it's a display piece anyway. ;)

@ MagicMan: Thanks! :P

Awesome Conversion! I thought of this years ago, but gave away my old blue and green epic landraiders back in the day from the original space marine.... I could kick myself now, as the conversion looks SWEEEETTTT! Only nit pick, I would have made a larger ammo hopper. ;)

GREAT paintjob, it'll look sick as a part of an InQ.'s retinue.
