Kizzdougs
Great work Siege40K! Such a nice model and you've really given it the paint job it deserves. Excellent freehand on the shoulder pad  Would you mind sharing the recipe for the blue... :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/237353-ultramarines-veteran/#findComment-2862034 Share on other sites

Olgerth Istaarn
The model is gorgeous, and so's the paintjob. I wish I had a boarding marine. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/237353-ultramarines-veteran/#findComment-2863006 Share on other sites
Siege40k
Thanks guys! I may end up doing a MK IV army that may end up being an ultra or ultra successor. Not sure. Going to decide in a little bit. My Storm Lords are not the quickest to paint to be honest. I was trying to think of some army that isn't 'overdone' but a single, solid color so I can slam on the airbrush and go to town, instead of painting each marine by hand, 4 or 5 hours at a time.....they look great, but take way to long when I can get similar results in a faster way. Votes or suggestions? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/237353-ultramarines-veteran/#findComment-2863659 Share on other sites
Bloodied_fist
Excellent marine, loving the hammer. The blue looks great on an Ultra. I recognize the base as well, I used the same ones for my DIY Chapter.
