Rev. Tiberius Jackhammer
In addition to my Hrud, I've been working on some Daemons; these are my Paguebearer conversions, made from Mantic Zombies (I started these before plastic Plaguebearers were a thing; still, those are a bit cartoony/exaggerated for my tastes, so I'm not losing any sleep over it). I've sculpted on a fair few more details since these pictures, but I'll share those once they're painted :P http://i.imgur.com/VTLGX.png http://i.imgur.com/NDtT3.png I'm doing some practice sculpts for Nurglings; I'm thinking "Nurgling" is a catchall phrase for the various tiny vermin flailing around Nurgle's realm - and while some of these are puny GUO lookalikes (which will probably be rarer - perhaps their appearance is considered lucky, a sign of Nurgle's favor), there are just as many bizarre insects, bony little creatures, angler fish frogs, stumbling plants with carven faces, paper lantern will-o-wisps floating along on clouds of flies and hunched-over, gibbering mortals who have been sucked into this realm and play host to these creatures. Still, all but the unfortunate mortals might bear an expression belying mischief - but these have more've a "snooker cue to the bollocks" sense of humor than the "custard pie to the face" expression of the current sculpts. As a bonus, here're my old converted Pink Horrors, predating the Squiggy plastics, made from Drydads. The lad with the staff in the back is a half-painted sculpt of The Changeling. Tried to pose these guys like they were half walking, half swimming. http://i.imgur.com/8Nczl.png Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/258440-warp-rift-jackhammer/ Share on other sites

Rev. Tiberius Jackhammer
Thank you! I was hoping to save my response until I had something a bit more noteworthy to add, but work's been piling up :P Here's a little drip of life to the project; an experiment in using a glue gun to build up a Horror; http://i.imgur.com/eRuup.png Mouth came out kinda meh, though. I like some parts of the style, but not others. Might use it to make the core of future Horrors, with limbs/faces being done traditionally. In other news, got my hands on some of the Juan Diaz Pink Horror sculpts, those guys are jumping right to the front of the painting line :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/258440-warp-rift-jackhammer/#findComment-3185775 Share on other sites
War Angel
I really like how this looks, kinda like an incoherent babble of nonsense that doesn't belong in this world. I think it's perfect in that aspect Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/258440-warp-rift-jackhammer/#findComment-3186011 Share on other sites

Rev. Tiberius Jackhammer
:D Thank you! I'm still fiddling with the best ways to use it, but the protoplasm-y glue-gun will be showing up again. On a less converty note, painted up two of the Diaz Pink Horrors, love those sculpts. http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mb1qcn5ZWz1qe00iwo1_r1_500.png http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mb1qcn5ZWz1qe00iwo3_r1_400.png Using this cultist as a test for the gradient I'll be using on a small Chaos warband, the Dawnspitters.
