Vaaish
nah.... more of an intense glow near the engines and not as much on the ship or extending as far. MrGosh13
Very nice, I like the engine glow touch, never seen that before actually. Makes me want to paint up my 4 IN ships... and order some more ;) I've allways loved the IN ships :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/136810-battlefleet-gothic-ships/page/2/#findComment-1585352 Share on other sites
Vassakov
Really nice conversion, and the drive glow looks excellent. I wonder what ships SW would use, as we have a tendency to nick them! Eberious
Once again I've been distracted a little by a conversion idea. Still BFG but for a IN fleet rather than my SM. Made from a left over harvested IN cursier, spare bits and plasti-card. Oh and some rough GSt work. http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk270/Eberious_2008/DSC02038.jpg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk270/Eberious_2008/DSC02039.jpg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk270/Eberious_2008/DSC02040.jpg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk270/Eberious_2008/DSC02041.jpg This side has some battle damage, will become more aparent once painted. http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk270/Eberious_2008/DSC02043.jpg And a scale shot for those who know how big the In battleships are. http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk270/Eberious_2008/DSC02042.jpg Come on guys, C&C even if youre not into BFG. Hey Vaaish, what colours did you use on your In ships please? Vaaish
I think it would look better with the lance turrets near the chaos launch bays so there is smooth arc to th ship. Eberious
Ok, time for an update..almost 2 years later. So doing well. Latest creation for BFG, if anyone would play against it is the Eternal Crusader for my Black Templar fleet. Here is my cheese beast, Don't ask for weapon load out as I'll get shot and fluffed to death. But if anyone really want's to know, by all means ask and I'll try and remember. http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk270/Eberious_2008/DSC05811.jpg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk270/Eberious_2008/DSC05812.jpg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk270/Eberious_2008/DSC05813.jpg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk270/Eberious_2008/DSC05814.jpg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk270/Eberious_2008/DSC05816.jpg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk270/Eberious_2008/DSC05859.jpg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk270/Eberious_2008/DSC05817.jpg For those less familiar with BFG, to get an idea of how big the ship is, here it is next to a Dread. http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk270/Eberious_2008/DSC05857.jpg Can't find my converted strike crusier at the moment. Will have more of a look tomorrow for those intrested. Sorry for cruddy pics, as primed black cant see a lot.will try and fix. oops, forgot top shot, fixing now. Eberious
Had a quick look and found em. Little firestorm. Tiny conversion, added fin to back of ship. http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk270/Eberious_2008/DSC05862.jpg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk270/Eberious_2008/DSC05863.jpg Strike Crusier http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk270/Eberious_2008/DSC05864.jpg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk270/Eberious_2008/DSC05865.jpg http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk270/Eberious_2008/DSC05866.jpg Next to a standard one. http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk270/Eberious_2008/DSC05868.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/136810-battlefleet-gothic-ships/page/2/#findComment-2353951 Share on other sites
RogueTrooper
Those ships look pretty cool mate, i've never really been into BFG but the section on GW site has caught my eye recently. was thinking of buying a couple of units just to paint up and convert. i've only ever seen metal BFG miniatures before, are there many plastic kits? Shortsonfire79
Awesome, thanks Eberious. Those look great. I may nick a couple of those. RogueTrooper, there are hardly any plastic kits. But the metal ones do hold lots of possibility for customization. RogueTrooper
ok, doesnt tell you on the GW site which are metal or plastic. i take it from those pics that the IN Battleships and H/Cruisers are plastics? it doesnt really matter, aslong as there is a decent amount of bitz to play around with. Kable
Awesome conversion for the Eternal Crusader. If i hadn't already just started my Imperial Navy Fleet i would have considered the Black Templar's fleet list. Also good to see a BFG thread start up. Makes me think i should get stuck into the six cruisers i just bought.
