Chaos Space Marine Armour

It's a pleasure to finally sign up and post after months of hovering and lurking. Enough boot licking.

 

Gentlemen

 

As the topic title implies I am in the process of building a Chaos Space Marine suit, I'm doing it as a papercraft frame first, then building up over it with fibreglass and automotive body filler to smooth it all out. I'm getting most of the 'tips' from 405th.com, same as these guys:

In fact I think they may have been users here before, but I'm not sure, I'm certain at least some of you know about their suits. Anyway, I've got quite far in the building:

That's me, I've gotten a little further than that since; a second shoulder pad, added the mouth grill, and building a bolter:

Again, that's a late photo, so I'll update that when I've finished completing it.

 

However, it came to my attention that these papercraft files were readily available, people have made them and been improving them since. I find it abominable, however, that very few Chaos Space Marine papercraft files are available; obviously with the helmet I just stuck some horns to it. So I've been making my own. The bolter is mine, and is the only one I'm making for now, as I have the shoulders, arms, helmet and the chest already. I feel it necessary to make some for those who'd rather choose the favour of the Dark Gods over the Corpse Emperor; and this is where I need your help. I value your professional opinion (more than /tg/) and, as I'm making the papercraft files for the fans, I don't want to make things that just look stupid.

But yeah, if you'd like to say anything, please be as critical as you can be, as I said I want as much feedback from this so I can improve on the models and make them look good, as this isn't just for me.

Well when I started I thought I'd go for the Black Legion, but now I'm just having general second thoughs. I want to go for Chaos Undevided, so I might even consider Red Coursairs, I think I'll have the final decision when the suit is ready to be painted I guess.
