Gerwulf
I quickly threw together a combi flamer tonight that I wanted to share :P It's a bit shoddy because it is late here and I'm not the best converter. Will need to smooth a few things out with greenstuff. http://lh6.ggpht.com/_6P4gVwEN6Wk/TShxYOEtFrI/AAAAAAAAFuM/NTgsTuYRR9k/s640/combi%20flamer.jpg I based the idea on post 22 in this forum. The combi flamer will probably go on a Wolf Guard with powerfist. The WG will join a pack of 8 Blood Claws with flamer and powerfist and Wolf Priest in a drop pod for a Ragnar's Claw army list I'm planning. (I know BCs are probably not the best unit to go into a drop pod, but they are fluffy) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/218930-combi-flamer-conversion/ Share on other sites
Token
Looks good. The gap between the.. hand hold thing.. and the gun will probably show when you paint it, perhaps fill the gap with a tiny amount of greenstuff? Gerwulf
Thans guys :) This close up it is really visible where i messed up a few things. Especially that there is glue all over the place (need to buy a glue that doesn't just gush out). But yeah, the cracks are what I intend to greenstuff as I mentioned in my post. Ah, and it is not really visible, but the clip is actually one of the box clips from a storm bolter of the TDA set. WG Vrox
looks good, If you want to get a more flush look, use a small amount of plastic glue and squish the pieces together in smear type motion. It creates a weld of shorts. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/218930-combi-flamer-conversion/#findComment-2610902 Share on other sites

Gerwulf
Combi weapons only have one shot. Let's say the normal flamer has 6 shots in it's tank. If you make the tanks 6x smaller, I'm sure it would fit somewhere into the anterior hand grip (how do you call that part?), which is even enlarged. Also, if you look at the FW combi-flamer, there is no tank either. http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Images/Product/AlternativeFW/large/comup3.jpg Edit: actually, now that I looked at a different picture of the FW combi-flamer, it looks like the anterior hand grip is exactly where the tank seems to be. Gerwulf
It's a picture from the FW page. You can get a whole set of bionics there. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/218930-combi-flamer-conversion/#findComment-2613840 Share on other sites
