1st Edition Space Hulk Terminator

Recommended Posts

Suits of Terminator Armour are revered relics, some date back to the days of the great crusade. These suits are lovingly repaired and restored by the Techmarines so that they may continue to be used for centuries to come. So with that spirit in mind I have been restoring my old suits of Terminator Armour. The Templar Crosses and Purity Seals are made from green stuff and the Cyclone is an epic scale Whirlwind. He was one of the first space marines I ever owned and has been bringing the pain to the enemies of the Emperor for 20 years or so. I hope you guys like him.

You're a cute little Terminator, yes you are, yes you are!.

That was my first thought too!

Vewwy cute little CML on the top of him :). Awesome paint job too by the way!

Has this guy always been a Templar or has he switched sides in the 20 years he's been having it large?

Thanks Guys,

Yeah my ickle cyclones do get a giggle, especially from my clubmates :) But I think they add to the model's wonky charm and there's 4 in a pack of whirlwinds. I couldn't find any modern ones on bitz sites, but I'm not too fussed as I think the sharper moulding of a modern CML would have clashed with the blobby moulding of the terminator and may have looked even weirder. :D

@sp4rky, Originally he was a White Scar. When I first got Space Hulk I'd seen some metal White Scar termies in a brilliant white shaded with blue and I wanted to do that, but the end result wasn't very good to say the least. When I started playing 40K proper in 2nd ed half my SH termies became BT (when BT were just a colour scheme in the Marine codex) and the other half got nurgled up. Fortunately I didn't go too far with the conversions (it was mainly spikes on the top and shoulders and slime made from PVA glue) so they're all salvageable. This guy was a nurgle one I think.
