These Grey Knight Terminators are part of a monthly project blog on the Painted Dragon website. There are 4 of painting a single unit a month. This month is the first month and we're painting Grey KNight Terminators.

I think that blue NMM will look fine on back wents of TDA and those little things on- and in- psychic hood. Mayby try to do some

If I'm right(and I think I am) the power weapons were done by masking off half the blade with some tape and using an airbrush to blend the colors, then switching the side the tape is on and repeating with the colors fading the opposite direction. You can find the technique on awesome paintjob when he paints a space wolf.

I painted these by hand. No airbrush on these blades.

Top notch job Gareth.please share your secret for those lovely Nemesis Weapons.

 

 

I'm getting asked for a tutorial on these blades on every forum. Thing is I'm not sure I can do it. It's a case of blending it all up on the palette and applying it the model using skill of the brush, not sure I can explain that in a tutorial. I can give the recipe. It's Wolf Grey basecoat, then progress amounts of hawk torquise added, then it's progressively more amounts of night blue added to hawk torquise. Lots of glaze medium and water added.
