This month is the first month and we're painting Grey KNight Terminators. Droma Posted May 30, 2011 Share Posted May 30, 2011 If I'm right(and I think I am) the power weapons were done by masking off half the blade with some tape and using an airbrush to blend the colors, then switching the side the tape is on and repeating with the colors fading the opposite direction. I'm getting asked for a tutorial on these blades on every forum. Thing is I'm not sure I can do it. It's a case of blending it all up on the palette and applying it the model using skill of the brush, not sure I can explain that in a tutorial. I can give the recipe. It's Wolf Grey basecoat, then progress amounts of hawk torquise added, then it's progressively more amounts of night blue added to hawk torquise. Lots of glaze medium and water added.
