Dexter Kong
I really love the patterning you've done between the black and red on the Rhino. It'd be great to see that more throughout the army. I'm not sure if you're done with your Drop Pod, but I think that'd be another great spot to do the jagged patterns. Foxmarine
I really like your work. My constructive criticism is that I think there is too much dust. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/239686-flesh-tearers/#findComment-2892114 Share on other sites

They are forgeworld brass etching set, Update time! i've done a little more painting and added some finer details to the librarian, however there is a shameless plug at the end... http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c242/Commisarat/IMG_1475.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c242/Commisarat/IMG_1476.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c242/Commisarat/IMG_1480.jpg So, now you've looked at that you may want to head To the Gitzkrieg for my latest Ork project... -skrall Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/239686-flesh-tearers/#findComment-2893119 Share on other sites
Skrall
Update time! My fast attack and heavy support for my 750 point force arrived today. As well as a very special gift from the astronicans very own Psychic Scribe! A gift i shall be working through the night to sanctify. http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c242/Commisarat/IMG_1493.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c242/Commisarat/IMG_1494.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c242/Commisarat/IMG_1495.jpg They need alot of cleaning, some extra detailing. i've left the tracks off for the painting to avoid them become to thick with the normal armour layers. On a side note, anyone notice my modification to the autocannon predator? -skrall Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/239686-flesh-tearers/#findComment-2897120 Share on other sites

Looks good with the extra length. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/239686-flesh-tearers/#findComment-2897315 Share on other sites

Skrall
@iron thanks man! Now for another update, i didn't expect to make this kind of progress given i've been watching supernatural season 7 and house season 8 all day long (my first day off in 6 days)... but i've added the final glow effects and paint to the plasmacannon, so its now done. the body is now at about... 80%ish, maybe. no progress on the fist, so i've left it off for these pics. Usual set up, arm changes sides to get better pics and show the effect is on both sides. http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c242/Commisarat/IMG_1536.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c242/Commisarat/IMG_1538.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c242/Commisarat/IMG_1539.jpg C&C? -skrall Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/239686-flesh-tearers/#findComment-2904010 Share on other sites

40k nut
You have a cool painting style. You have mastered the worn rusted look. It realy adds character to the models. I could totaly imagine you painting a chaos marine army. But Flesh Tearers aren't far off from chaos are they? I love chaos marines, but they wrote them out in 4th edition with codex 'renegade' chaos marines. Until 6th i'm not going back to my Iron Warriors. As for the FT's they are described as caring little for the appearance of there gear so long as its functional. It also helps sell the chapter in decay vibe. -skrall Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/239686-flesh-tearers/#findComment-2904907 Share on other sites
