Last year I started the idea with a Dornian Heresy army. I had the choice between Space Wolves or Blood Angels.

Blood Angels one the upper hand. But I'm also expanding my army with Chaos Wolves. So I can create a warband for sure when Chaos Legions comes around!

For people to see my full Army pics click here!. I will use this thread as a blog to show you how I redo the army. The main colours will be kept but I'm gonna at here and there a highlight, redo the glowing eyes, make new plague marines and add Rhino/razorback/predator's to the army!

Also my Black Templars will get a repaint! But this will be after my Nurgle Angels is complete. 3x 10men squads, death company and my Sanguiary Guard.

For both armies I have expanding idea's in my backhead. Even for the Chaos Wolves a box Bloodchrushers are awaiting building. But first things first!

First up is my vow:

I, Teku of the Dornian Heresy Blood/Nurgle Angels, of the Liber Astartes, vow on the honour of my Chapter to paint and present at least a 5 men devastor Squad with 4 missile Launchers, 3 Razorbacks and a Sanguinary Priest on or before the 31st of March, 2012. I promise to provide at least two WIP updates, preferably with pictures, in that time. I vow that if I should fail, I will provide the Librarium with an article and wear the Signature of Shame until my penitence period is done.

Nurgle's wolf-blood angels- I'll be keeping an eye on these!

So I did abit more painting yesterday and took some pics.

I'm doing all of my devastor marines in one to have the same rust feeling.

So first up the squad I vowed for the LPC:

The total squad of marines.

Razorback: metal and red paint job done. Needs some touching up.

And as final something I wanna try out. My evil Grey Knights! You can call me a heretic for it!

So like I said in the beginning of the year I would redo my Nurgle Angels Army. The marines for most part, add vehicles and extend it with a Sanguinary Guard troop army. I finished the squad yesterday but I was too tired to take pictures and write something. After seeing Torchwood, Zombieland and a whole other bunch of movies I went to sleep. I did try to paint a powersword properly but failed... My devastator collection is for 95% done. Only have to do the bases!!

Okay so I told my self to paint one combat squad a week. Now seems that I'm motivated enough to do more than 5 men!

So repainted my 15 guys for the tournament and have spare time for another 10. Still need to do some infernus pistol and combi melta but that isn't much work!

Also the bases for my Devastor Squad keeps flat and plane... Gonna work on those for sure this week!

Those Chaos Wolves in particular look brilliant mate. Keep it up! I have to admit, when I first saw the Space Wolf appear in your blog I was somewhat confused as I thought it was just a Nurgle Blood Angels blog. But all is clear now :P

Well the fluff for the warband is: my count as dante and count as logan grimnar joined forces.

So that's why you have Space Wolf dude leading a Blood Angel devastator squad.

Also I love the dornian heresy fluff and its a great idea to represent 2 armies I like and the ability to reuse them when Chaos Legions comes out ;)

So what have I been doing the few last weeks? Alot of stuff!

It snowed and because of that I didn't get to try my sanguinary list.. I bought snowchains (which afterall I didn't needed...)

I tried some battle damage but I wasn't sure about it. So I redo the models. Now I'm gonna wait till after the tournament to try it again. Also the skulls will be after it. Only the vehicle tracks left to do. Here they are!

Also bought some army for half the price. So my vehicle park is again grown as is the troops and terminators. They will most likely go into the Black Templars, Chaos Wolves and Nurgle Angels armies. Looking out to do them! But first my Black Templars. After!!! I finish my new attack bike (who needs a repaint and a magnet) and the sanguinary priest.

I went to the Ardennen (for guys who don't where that is. Its the French side of Belgium) 2 weekends ago. And last weekend I went and go to my local game store for a list of Razorback Spam. Was fun but I'm in doubt If I will play it like that for real. Thinking about doing a squad of 10men Assault marine in rhino and 9 death company with chaplain and an extra death company dread. I think I'm gonna see another time what I'm gonna remake of it. For a next post maybe. I faced an "in your face" space wolf army list. Was kinda "fun"! He was also test listing his list. Bjorn is a goddamn bastard to get down! Front armour 13!?? You be damn sure I'm gonna make him one day also for my list!

 

Ooh and my girlfriend made me an awesome valentine gift! A home made drop pod!!! Awesome! I asked her do alot more. So I can go and make a drop pod wolf guard army!
