Warsmith Aznable
I like the forward stub-wings and the use of Dark Angels upgrade bits. The chin cannon makes me wonder how it's going to land and use the Assault Ramp, though. I sometimes jokingly refer to my own variant as a Sky Raider since I use the Land Raider profile when I play with it. But yours is a "baby Thunderhawk" and a Dark Angels flyer... Thunder Angel Storm Angel Storm Hawk Thunder Raven Thunder Bird Gryphonne Pegasus Storm Wing Dark Wing Thunder Hawk Maybe none you like but it might get the brain turning... Lachdannan
Looking good. Makes me want to do something similar. Is this using the chapter house studios true scale kit? company veteran
yeah.. a fantastic kit but the resin is very brittle so you gotta be careful with it. the rest was just kitbash. Honda
Very clever and I like it a lot. I did a similar thing to my SR-STUs, i.e. canards though mine were above the VTOL vents, but nobody noticed. I guess I should have hung TL-Heavy Bolters on them :P It would be sweet if GW came out with a gunship version of this puppy for the chapters. I know, some might think it's a gunship now. It ain't. Looking forward to seeing you finish this up. Two thumbs up! Lysimachus
very nice! As for the name, given it's shape, style and colour, of the names previously suggested it's got to be the ThunderBird Beta :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/246400-new-space-marine-flyer/#findComment-2981790 Share on other sites
the damned artificer
How about "cloudy chicken" seeing as i's a baby thunderhawk ;D No I got no idea for a good name, but it's a nice conversion even though the assault ramp seem to be a bit disabled by the underslung guns :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/246400-new-space-marine-flyer/#findComment-2981831 Share on other sites
