Giga
There's a sternguard conversion sprue in the GW store. I think it's got one heavy flamer on it. War Angel
There's a sternguard conversion sprue in the GW store. I think it's got one heavy flamer on it.   Except most of the stuff in that box is garbage. They need to make sternguard like they make death company  Gray knights eh? What else comes with it? reckoning
Id recommend Grey Knights if for no other reason than the amount of bitz and awesome armor you get. Validar
Take the Grey Knight Psilencer - any GK mate you have will have hundreds - cut off the very tip of the tri-barrel and place the incenerator flamer head - most GK players will have enough to spare - sideways, so the igniter is at the bottom. Bam, awesome heavy flamer :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/266245-sternguard-heavy-flamers/#findComment-3243485 Share on other sites

Fire Lord Captain
I used the heavy flamer from the landspeeder sprue. I'll put a picture up when i get home from work... Jamafore
I'm thinking of taking a multimelta and switching the barrels for the front end of a termy's heavy flamer, meself. Kaedes Nex
This is a bit more expensive, but I think it looks really cool. Take the devastator multimelta and backpack and chop the melta barrels off and replace it with the terminator heavy flamer tip. You can then use the melta barrels for some combi-meltas or something. Fire Lord Captain
Here's mine. I used a landspeeder heavy flamer an turned it upside down, snipped the muzzle off and glued it back on the right way. It still needs neatening up but I think it looks cool. http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l196/Donedy/image.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/266245-sternguard-heavy-flamers/#findComment-3244605 Share on other sites
War Angel
Some good looking stuff guys, thanks for all the tips. Which box is it for the gray knights? Or is there only one box? Hyaenidae
From the standard GK power armoured box. I used the same technique for a multi-melta for my Astral Claws. Should be pretty easy to swap out for the Hvy. Flamer, man. Warbringer
Terminator ones look good to me. Valkyrion
I don't have a picture, but I cut the melta part off a devastator multi melta, the flamer part off a terminator heavy flamer, the cannister from a normal flamer and glued it all to the multi melta. Works for me. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/266245-sternguard-heavy-flamers/#findComment-3245628 Share on other sites
