Olgerth Istaarn
For absolutely no good reason, I want to model a pilot for my Imperial Knight. Not the kind that sits in the cockpit but a separate model on its own base. I thought of using the Imperial Pilot model from the 4th Edition Box Set (this fellow), but it's kind of "everyone is doing it". Then I had the "brilliant" idea of using the Tempestus Scions commander (the one in a greatcoat), and stupidly bought a box of Scions, but turns out these guys are bloody HUGE! When fully assembled and on a base, they are as tall as a Space Marine, and that won't do. At least the shuttle pilot is noticeably smaller. Bye-bye $35... Now I'm looking at [url=http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhammer-40000/Titans/TITAN_CREW_ON_FOOT.html[/url] - maybe I'll use the princeps and flog his entourage on the eBay.But, I don't want to end up with another outsized human who is as tall as an Astartes. Does anyone own these guys and/or have comparison shots? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/293720-forgeworld-titan-crew-scale/ Share on other sites
CommodusXIII
I've done a few Knight pilots as part of an ongoing project, including both the Imperial Pilot and Princeps. I don't really have any comparison shots next to other models but they're both on par with your average Guardsman. You can definitely see the difference between them and a Space Marine.
