Hi All

After many weeks for hard work and toil I have managed to finish this truly epic model from Forgeworld. Through many trials and tribulations, and no few failed painting attempts that required stripping and going back to step one I am finally happy with the end result.

Please enjoy the pictures below and as always your C & C is more than welcome.

Magnificent. Especially love the hazard stripes. So slick looking.

Planning on adding any design to the Warlords shields?

EDIT: The more I look at it, the more I feel convinced there's a bit too much red on his upper half on the front. From the side the red is broken up by the hazard stripes between the shoulder plates, and the back of course doesn't have this issue at all due to the machinery, but from the front there's so many large red areas that are essentially empty. Adding shield designs would probably alleviate this problem alltogether.

Still even you don't... hot damn.

Beautiful. :) Really lovely paintjob. I agree with the point about too much red and perhaps you could paint the head a different colour so it acts as more of a focal point. Other options might be to add further detailing to the higher quadrants, but I think the head would make for the easiest and most effective option for you.

Only thing missing is perhaps some heraldry for the shields and the loin cloth kill banner.

I seewhat people are saying about the head. It could be the lighting it all gets a little dark in the middle, but the side shot looked fine...

In context tho. If you looked up to a monstrosity like that and it was back lit, the front in shadow... Wow what an ominous feeling!

I think a front lit shoot might show the front is fine too those commenting

OP: I'm also a little bit envious. That's a real majestic beast you've got there. Would hate to have to assemble it though ;)
