BassWave
I am looking to get some artillery for my growing Vostroyan force, however I do not like the look of the regular basilisk. I'm looking for a vehicle that isn't open topped. The Forge World basilisk is awesome, BUT its way too expensive. Does anyone know of any cool alternative kits, or know any tutorials to make the gw basilisk fully enclosed? Aeternus
Only thing I can think of is using a turret/weapon from Blood and Skulls on top of a chimera chassis. morroccomole
You could try to find a German Marder III kit in a 1/48th scale, and convert the turret onto a Chimera. From what I have read, that is the rough approximation of scale with regards to 40k vehicles. WarriorFish
You could plasticard an encased Bassie, but it'd take a bit of effort to make look good so it depends on how good/dedicated you are. Otherwise I'm not aware of any specific replacements/counts as so raiding some other games/historical/etc as morroccomole says might be a good idea.
