Inquisitor Scale Artemis model

With the awesome Death Watch stuff being released next weekend I thought I'd share my old Artemis model with you all.

Now, I know I know, It's painted as a (very bright) ultramarine. But you will have to forgive my childish enthusiasm from back when this miniature was released, and look past the unfinished model and the blu-tac holding it together.

My plan was to paint a young Marneus Calgar during his Death Watch years (I have no idea if that ever happened). Sadly I haven't touched this model for about 10 years, and that was to show someone. I painted this 15 to 16 years ago? Maybe I will paint it "properly" some time soon!

This really was just a fun look back at the model. He needs a complete overhaul!

I have a BAJILLION other projects I should really be focusing on before this guy... :/

Well boo*fethin*hoo ;) Stop whining and get back to painting, soldier! ;)

Personally speaking, I'd keep him in Ultrasmurf colours -- it adds a nice ironic counterpoint to your Word Bearers, plus it means you'll eventually have to convert and paint a 54mm Word Bearer as well, just to complete the set ;)
