Stix
I decided to open new topic in which people can ask burning questions about different squad markings, herladry and other designations of the legions. We know that many of them found they place in the Bob's Codex Astartes but not every legion have used them. My question is: is there any specific squad marking for breachers? Or would they use tactical markings? Maybe assault? rendingon1+
Assuming IF were using standard Principia Bellicosa (?) unit designation, Breacher Squads use (40k) fast attack symbol: https://goo.gl/images/9Ag5Tg Thnks for the thread BTW, I'll be posting my own questions soon. Arion
I've always wondered about this. Concerning IF breachers, it's a bit contentious because Phalanx Warders ARE a fast attack choice whereas regular breachers are troop. The picture that rendingon1+ has linked shows a breacher with fast attack iconography on his bracers, but the picture itself is title Phalanx Warders... Confusion aplenty in the 30th millenium! rendingon1+
This image comes from HH:3 Extermination and it's titled "Imperial Fists Breacher Squad Sergeant", it's wiki who messed up :) Phalanx Wardens do not have any ilustrations (yet). rendingon1+
My questions: Do we have any existing examples of "standard" Seeker squad markings? Stix
What battlefirld role markings would heresy era terminators display? Was veteran maltese cross used then as a terminator marking? Marshal Rohr
In most legion profiles the Cross is the Veteran marking, but some legions have specific marks for their elite Terminators like the Blood Angels and the Scars (iirc) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/354219-legions-heraldry-and-markings/#findComment-5401954 Share on other sites

AgramarTheLunarWolf
I have question: Is there any info about colours, heraldry, markings, etc of pre-heresy/heresy Librarians? I think the colors were the same as other battle brothers in the same Legion, but the rest? Â Thanks in advance, any suggestion or info is welcome! Stix
Any knowledge about EC markings? Legion symbol on left shoulder and roman numeral III on left, but how about squad, batalion, force, tactical, and veteran symbols? And I have read somewhere that white shoulderpads were reserved for some special veterans, is that correct? MegaVolt87
How much personal commander heraldry is acceptable across a force? Should it just be limited to command squads/ command vehicles, standards?
