Nemesis Warbringer (ETL VII)

Here’s the doc for my Nemesis Warbringer ETL vow.

It’s currently soaking to remove the resin release. Thats the body. There’s a second tub for the weapons and head.

Normally I wouldn’t recommend doing it like this (all the parts disorganized) but I’ve assembled a bunch of Titans before and this is for expediency. I think the soak / scrub and cleanup prep will really take the longest actual work time. Assembly should take 3-4 days duration but it’ll only be a an hour or so of work a day before letting it set. And paint I expect to only take a few hours with an airbrush given its size (excluding details, decals, etc.). I’ll post pics and descriptions as I put it together.

Also added the hip hydraulics, cables and bolters but no pics.

At this point the body is mostly done, except for leaving some plates off to paint before assembly.

On to the weapon arms, main cannon, AA guns and head.

Should be done on time.

Also wanted to plug my AT:

Everything magnetized. Quake Cannon, AA guns, Mauler Bolters and arms all rotate and the former elevates.

Head detaches and opens.

Not pictured but the ammo loading deck arms move too.

Pretty much done building. Painting the plates separately before attaching but have lot of green stuff gap filling to do before then.

Still looking to be done on time.

OMG!!!! IT STANDS!!! AWE-INSPIRING STUFF!

Do you think you'll be able to complete it for the ETL? It looks as if there is a ton of detail on it... Whatever you do, don't rush it!

Yeah. Painting is the easy part lol. 2 days tops.

Scrubbing, trimming, green stuff was the time consuming bit.

My bulldog was trying to assist me last night but seeing as his paws are unwieldy and lacking opposable thumbs he accidentally knocked the Titan off my 3’ table. Surprisingly the only piece that broke was a toe (plates hadn’t been attached yet).

Encouraged by the effectiveness of my previous pinning, I’ve gone slightly overboard and added another 32 pins. If there’s such a thing as “over-pinning”, this is probably the case for it but never let it be said that I was not thorough.

I also drove a 3 inch pin through the one toe that broke all the way through the foot and shin. Just because.

Priming now. Pics of pinning and paint again shortly.

Put pins right through his foot all the way through his shin:

More pins all over the place. This is before covering up / smoothing over with green stuff and clearing the excess glue.

Testing articulation of the loading arms and magazines:

Almost done really, just need to finish some trim on the top, reattach the plates and add decals:

Just waiting on decals to be applied tonight then weather and airbrush barrel heat discoloration:

Loading shells (it’s articulated so posable):

I’ll get some better pics, lighting and setting after decals and stuff.

Should be done well in time for ETL end. If bulldog doesn’t eat it.

Heat discoloration. I think the black band is too thick, I’m going to back it off a little before I finish:

This thing has less space than my bathroom, but it has a throne:

Didn’t you say this was a new Titan? Why are the seats used?

Excuse my terrible work desk. Will take better pictures next weekend with terrain. But painting-wise - I’m going to call it complete:
