stayeatingpaint Posted April 2, 2020 Share Posted April 2, 2020 Hello everyone, it's been a long time since I've been on here. Probably ~12 years since I took a hiatus from this hobby. I stopped playing during like 4th edition when they got rid of legion specific Chaos rules, it just got really boring to me. However after seeing the new Chaos models and Kill Team, I've decided to get back into the hobby. I also got a few of my friends that never had the time to start a full army to try it out and they loved it. Anyways I painted up a few of my old CSM I had lying around. Hope you like them. I have another 5 Chaos Marines that are being painted up right now along with some scratch made terrain and some old Cities of Death buildings. I'm also debating on stripping the units I have painted up from a long time ago since they're not too great and the trim is painted a bright gold similar to the Heavy Metal Iron Warriors depicted on the box sets. I was like 12 when I painted them originally and liked the bright new armor look, but now that I'm older I prefer the dark, gritty, been through years of hell in the Warp type look. Also one of my friends that was into 40k around the same time I was who ended up quitting around the same time (we didn't know each other then) I've gotten back into the hobby, we're gonna split the Shadowspear box set as a local hobby shop has a few boxes left. I'm really excited for that as the new Chaos models are amazing.
