TPS

Some work in progress. Making the Stormsurge stand up turned out to be easier than I had anticipated!

They've been invented by a certain T'ony St'ark and are especially useful for beating up big green angry targets. I realized the Hulkbuster had just the right amount of fingers for Tau and those big arm plates are excellent for attaching guns and shields to. These are 3d printed so I could scale them to the battlesuit.

Thanks! I have no idea what I vowed previously, because that was early 2022 I think. :D This month, I vow to paint this Stormsurge, because he's big and dumb and fun (he's also part of my Call to Arms vow).

I've been gone from the forum for a while, what a time to come back! I, TPS, heed the call to arms and pledge to paint my precarios pile of plastic, in the form of - 6 Stealth Battlesuits - 1 Ghostkeel - 1 Riptide - 1 Stormsurge - 2 Devilfish - 1 Skyray - 1 Commander Shadowsun - 2 Piranhas - 1 Fireblade + 1 Ethereal Martial Arts instructor - a handful of mixed drones for a total of 70 points, for the glory of the Tau'va and the Xenos Stronghold, by 30. of September, or bear the badge of shame until year's end. The Devilfish are rescues and need some repairs and repainting. Also, there seems to be a tyranid stuck in the engine. Ew!

I got various battlesuits and vehicles primed and ready. Also, I just stuck arms on a Stormsurge and am now very much looking forward to painting him. :D Where does the Taunar fit, points-wise?

Hey, so I've been gone for a while, had a lot going on when the forum moved and kinda forgot about it. Until 10th edition came around that is. Is it possible to jump back in here right in the middle of the year? Got a box of shame ready to be built and painted! :)

I love converting! Gets me all motivated to paint the result! I should also add something to plod along this year. Uh ... here goes: I, TPS, vow to paint a Reaver Titan by the end of Year. Yes, I bought a friend's half-painted Titan collection. I love painting those resin monstrosities!

That's ambitious - I love it!

I wanted to do Skyweavers as a Chaos Knights unit, but didn't manage to come up with a good idea for a model. So I changed the plan, grabbed a spare Armiger and tried some things with it. What if, instead of Skyweavers, Chaos Knights had a flyer? The Tyranid Harpy could be pretty cool if it was a Knight! This abomination seems quite pleasing to the Dark Gods! I'll probably sculpt on some cables and add a few chains for good measure before giving it a coat of paint. I also chaos-ified the rules for the Harpy.

I too got my vow completed for the Anger and Arrogance event! Just in time for the new codex.

I almost forgot. Almost. Until I didn't. :)

*laughs in 10'000ish points of IW* I might get a box for the rulebook and trade most of the minis to friends who are considering getting into Heresy.

This! Also, less stratagems. I like how Titanicus does them. After dabbling with various alternating or random activation games in recent times, I find 40k's turn structure very tedious, as during my opponent's turn, I'm mostly sitting out. It's also very frustrating having units shot off the table before they even get to act. So I'd love to see a change to how turns work.
