When a fellow player mentions they keep losing their magnetized boltguns, your first response is to chain it to the wrist.

As a chaos player I always remember mindshackle scarabs ruining all fun I had with special characters, so I guess any overlord with them and a warscythe if we're being specific in my case. Wraithknights were fairly intimidating as well but I didn't experience them all too often.

So I forgot to post this Saturday but I threw together a quick model with some bits I had. The head is very out of proportion but until an official model is made available again I'm happy with my efforts.

You may want to stick with the Taurox prime if you are running the Scions. I still think it's a solid firebase however I have no real knowledge of the price point. The chimera is quite good with an autocannon and you can fit a fair amount of models in there. For the biggest bang Charlo is right, that land raider is punishing when the Inquisitor is giving it the rerolls. As a huge Ordo Xenos fan... I also echo the Deathwatch Blackstar despite your draw to land vehicles, definitely reminds me of Eisenhorn's guncutter.

I wish I had gotten one when they were still available, I always did like the one with the horns. I'm kicking myself trying to figure out how to convert Cherubael now!

If you are wanting a good diversion force maybe a vanguard of an Allarus Shield captain with some terminators and the -1 to hit Allarus banner? Once all of them drop on turn one if you have spare CP you can unleash the lions and turn all of those terminators into individual units. In this way I would have my kill teams moving fast up the board while a bunch of 2+ 4++ 4 wound models wreak havoc near the opponent. Once they both get in effective range you'll have those devastating frag cannons and the nasty CC punch of the terminators for opponents to deal with. Bear in mind this is just my idea of a really cool looking force, others may have some ideas I haven't thought of!

Ah my apologies! I wasn't critiquing your daemonhost, which is great by the way! Its got a hulking menace that I like, what were the parts you used? I was just thinking how best to convert the character.

Hmmm.... usually I'd be inclined to just go at it for conversion purposes, but I'm a sucker for the fluff and Cherubael has a definite look. Anyone know how large the nightbringer or deciever are compared to human models? They have that floating on chains/scrolls look and resemble unclothed humanoids so there's some potential converting purposes. I may even convert that cultist model with the knife and shirtless torso. The hardest part for me seems to be how to get him floating.
