  1. You are right, my thoughts about the double chainsword are that even against another warmaster you could finish it in one turn with the charge (you would have a +2 to strength after the first complete attack) and another attack or two from the chainsword protected from the possible explosion. The problem i see with the Siege Drill is that if you destroy another warmaster with it you probably are going to take a very big hit in form of a detonation in return, so i don't think it's worth it, but it's very cool XD.
  2. The Warmaster Iconoclast, I love it, i like close combat and this seems like the epitome of close in Titanicus. As for weapons and ancillary reactor system my preferred options would be double Desolator Chainsword and double vulcan megabolter (cheap) with Kinetic Transducers or maybe Dedicated Void Shunts. With the double Chainsword you can attack in melee with a 2+ and be outside of melee relatiation and protected by your void shields in case of detonation. Add to that the +1 strength on the charge from Kinetic Transducers and it can fell any titan in one turn: On the charge against a Warlord and asuming 6'' movement: Desolator chainsword: 6 attacks hitting on 2+ asuming perfect distribution of 1,2,3,4,5,6 against the body it will go: 1: superficial 2: 13, direct hit 3: 14, devastating hit 4: 15, devastating hit 5: 16, critical hit 6: 17+rending, critical hit This will place the warlord in the last body and last critical point, correct me if i am wrong. Now you have a warlord with only one crit to go and without void shields. The warmaster can take it out in the combat phase or another titan can with a called shot. Depending on your position you could attack another titan and leave the crippled one to a support warhound or reaver. Warbringers, Reavers and Warhounds would be oneshoted on the charge. With the correct positioning, if you are in the midst of things, you even could split fire and attack two titans with the Desolator Chainswords and the megabolters or the Cruciator Gatling Array, the two chainswords should make short work of the lesser titans and the megabolters and Gatling are good shield strippers to take out shields on another titan and support the shots of your colleages. This loadout has no draining weapons so it can use all it's reactor for moving around and voids. The Krius Grav Imploder it's like a short range super Volcano Cannon, it could give some versatility at 8'' or less, but i see some problems, for me this titan it's all about called shots outside 2'', and if you make a called shot with the Grav Imploder you are going to be using 2 5+ dice, not very reliable and expensive. If you don't call the shot chances are that you will only land one shot in a random location. Comparing 2 strength 12 5+ called shots with 4 strength 10 2+ called shots i think it's a no brainer. The Krius Siege Drill it's brutal 3 3+ strength 13 fusion hits that would translate in 2 criticals on average, i like it a lot but you have to enter that 2'' bubble and be vulnerable to detonation, would it be viable? i think it could, if you don't die from explosions. Plasmatic locomotors seems like a good choice, but you are going to want to use Power to Locomotors or Power to Stabilisers and that would translate in your range weapons suffering a -2 to hit, is it worth it? Don't know.

  4. Really impressive work, i'm astonished....
  5. Of course!! that paint can be removed with those products our comrades just pointed you to. Don't give up on that titan!!
  6. But blood talons are strength 10 and with red thirst the first round of combat would wound toughness 9 or less on a 2+. Am i wrong? Edit, too slow XD
  7. That's true, but terminators should be more durable i think.
  8. Ah, that 3+ in 2d6 from 2nd edition...
  9. I'm fairly sure that's why we got a mostly unchanged Dante as well. He's turning into one of major characters for the imperium so I can definitely see them doing a new model for him alongside a campaign book or something. I agree. I'm sure The Sanguinor and Dante are going to be updated in the near future both model an rules wise. Maybe Mephiston too?
  10. Inmortal with no wounds? ;)
  11. I didn't find it rude, but english is not my native language so sorry if didn't express myself clearly ;)
  12. Spoilers dude! Lol. He had an amazing turn 1, but watching this I think a lot of people that start with the new Codex are going to make similar mistakes. All those buff characters he had got strung out and didn't get to contribute until it was too late. The way the table was laid out, he could have dropped in behind cover and saved the CPs from Descent of Angels. We have delivery systems, but I still think people that think they are going to get a ton of charges off turn 1 are in for a surprise. It's a bit of a gimmick. I definitely like the Sanguinary Guard a lot now. They tanked a ton of wounds from those Berzerkers with that banner. Flybrarian was really fun too. He should have used the Quickening on him in melee. Death Company I'm just not sold on which pains be greatly. They did a lot of damage, but with 3 Thunder Hammers and 3 Power Fists how couldn't they? They are still just total glass cannons which is a bummer. His list would have really benefited from some sort of long range. I think a Devastator squad with 4 Lascannons and a Cherub would have really helped. In any case, I really like how the army plays. It'll be a lot of fun as it's not just show up and win. It needs a lot of finesse and tactics to pull off which is what I always wanted. From what I've seen, definitely the best Codex we've had in a long time. Love it! I think between wings of sanguinius, descent of angels, the death co movement strat, and wings of fire, blood angels have a ton of movement options, and utilizing those effectively will give us a huge edge. I think trying to hurl our army into the opponents like we're orks will end badly, but with good positioning, and planning your combats and charges, we can reap a huge dividend. overall, i'm in love with this codex. my only gripes are dante, baal preds, and maybe sanguinary guard (really would've liked a 3rd attack). everything else, i'm completely happy with. Dante + sanguinary guard was not optimal. It would have been much better with the sanguinor and cheaper. And that charge to the center with the Libby and the DC was killer....for both ')
  13. Hahaha, that's right, sorry
  14. I really like the primaris models but dislike how they are implemented in the game. If they were model replacements for the old marines it would be fine by me.
  15. I don't really like primaris, find them a little boring, and would prefer "primaris" figures for normal marines, that's all.
