Be very careful when clicking on links posted here.
In the last few days we have had a number of brand new members posting topics that direct members to click on links to achieve results that appear to be hobby-oriented. In the first instance, it was about completing registration for Forge World. In the second instance, it was about unlocking privileges here at the Bolter & Chainsword.

Fortunately, new members undergo a screening process where all of their submitted content must be approved by a staff member before it becomes visible to other members. This limits the ability of bad actors (such as those described here) to reach unsuspecting community members. Both of these accounts were quickly spotted by staff members and the accounts and all of their content were deleted.
We can't guarantee that bad actors won't find ways around this process, however. In addition, it's always possible for bad actors to gain access to legitimate accounts.
If you see any link, be very careful before you click on it. If it looks suspicious, don't click it, then REPORT it so that the staff can investigate and, if necessary, take action.
