Phase 3 - Game 4

Xaphan spit out wrath and bile at the enemy. Thin-bloods again, the shadowy Ubral Reavers of the new Primaris breed. They had fought once, these Emperor-lovers who moved like mist and struck at strange angles. Very little went right in this battle. Weapons jammed, blades lost their power-fields or shuddered to a halt, orders were stolen by vox-thieves. Fallen champions were caught out in the open and hounded to death. The Forgotten didn't go alone, they fought with all their might. Havocs

Phase 3 - Game 3

Xaphan grinned under his silver skull-helm. This was a foe worth destroying- the fanatical attack dogs of the damned Ecclesiarchy, Sisters of Battle. Their base was filled with statues to the Corpse-God, singing Novitiates praising His name. Xaphan's voice was raised in his infamous castigations, calling his brothers to war. They were unprepared for the Forgotten's speed and hatred. Again Xaphan lead his warband into the heart of the enemy, destroying both Novitiates and Battl Sisters alike.

Phase 3 - Game 2

The Aeldari were holding a line, defending a section of city for their own inscrutable reasons. Squads of Striking Scorpions prowled the flanks while Eldrad, Guardians, the Void Reapers, and Wraithguards were spread out among the centerline. It mattered not to the Forgotten. Not the Xenos' defensive plans, their witcheries, or their vaunted battle skills. Galgaliem bikers formed the Fallen vanguard, capturing breachpoints and holding them while Rhinos transported reinforcing Legionaries. Havo

Phase 3 - Game 1

The Forgotten were under attack, taken by surprise. Scores of squat power-armored bodies moved in disciplined ranks against the Fallen. Bulbous wheeled transports filled the air with fire as crackling teleporters brought even heavier-armored squads into the Angels' back lines. Xaphan and his men did not buckle under the pressure, driving the invading "Kin" back and showing them the power of eons of hate. It was too little though, as the stubby Abhumans managed to find the whatever it was their g

Phase 2 - Game 4

Xaphan lead his Forgotten against the Night Lords, seeking to punish the masters of terror for their ambition and lack of discipline. For the Night Lords terror itself was a goal, thriving on the horrified cries of the enemy and civilians rather than focusing on strategic objectives. The Warmaster and the Forgotten's Grand Master had given the warbands specific goals for the campaign and Xaphan was determined to achieve them. The warlord known as Resk of the Midnight Claw would have to be shown

Chaos Glory points gained 4. New path totals (6/7/7), now Favored in Warfleet and Dark Gods. Use Warfleet bonus for -1RP on Legendary Veterans (Raptor squad Xelith). Phase 2 - Game 2 (Ouch...)

Opponent - Space Marines (Vanguard) Mission - Strategic Strike   No pictures or real report for this battle, it was a major drubbing. Xaphan and Chosen shot up in the first turn (forgot how many weapons a Repulsor has), Dark Pacts failed for pretty much everything turn 1/2 (managed to half-kill my Predator with two max mortal fails), but my Raptors and bikes did do their Agenda actions so at least I went out sort of on top...   Forgotten lose the battle, 13-5 (Forgotten

Phase 2 - Game 1

Phase 2 - Game 1 (vs Aeldari)   Mission - Purge After Inload Agendas - Blasphemous Ritual, Search Drop Sites   Each pic will be of the beginning of the battle round for round 1 and 2, end of round for 3/4     Round 1 Aeldari move up, Striking Scorpions take an objective while Corsairs move to support. Wraithguard move forward towards Aeldari deployment objective.  No shots/charge on Aeldari turn. Forgotten turn, bikes move to both "bottom" objectives (squad T

Phase 1 - The outline

This is a quick outline of what happened during Phase 1 of the campaign. Pics are there, but not great (apologies, I am terrible), and this is more of a stream of concious/AAR that I did for the campaign rather than anything really organized or story-like. I will work on some sort of in-character updates later.     Phase 1 Special campaign rules - Started off at 1k points games, increasing by 250 every two games. Start off with 6XP given to a single character (Xaphan took all

The Nuts and Bolts- the Crusade list and general gameplan

A quick look at my Forgotten Crusade force. As of now (4/21) we are in our fourth week of Phase 1 of the Nachmund Campaign, about to go to Phase 2, each phase being four weeks. I don't intend to add anything to this force, as we are doing a growing-style crusade with increasing points limits (1k/1k/1.25/1.25/1.5/1.5, etc..) going up to 2k for the start of phase 3. Unless something changes and we go beyond the 2k, I think I'm good at where I'm at, but you never know...   Total Crusade S
