Tactical Test Model

I’ve completed the first Tactical model for my Dark Angels Legion. I’ve chosen the Sergeant to work on initially and I’m quite pleased with how it’s turned out so far. I’m not sure if I’ve gone far enough with the worn/weathered look though so any feedback is appreciated on improving it.   He’s equipped in the classic Dark Angels style with a sword and Plasma pistol. Please ignore the shoulder pads looking very clean as I’m still waiting on the DA transfers to arrive before I can weather

It Begins…

With the arrival of Horus Heresy 3.0 I wanted to start a new Legion force. I’d already done Blood Angels, Iron Warriors, Mechanicum, Custodes and a small contingent of White Scars and Solar Auxilia so I decided to use the gorgeous MKII marines for an entirely new Legion.    I narrowed it down to Space Wolves, Dark Angels or Ultramarines. The Dark Angels ultimately prevailed due to a combination of their Knightly Aesthetic,  their Playstyle, their Lore and the amazing design of their Legio
