My local group tends to run 1-2 loosely themed campaigns a year. The first one of 3.0 is themed around the Siege of Mezoa. The campaign centers around control of 3 rings of loyalist fortifications (Mezoa Primus, Outlying Defenses, Orbital Defense Grid). Each fortification gives a different bonus to the loyalists.
